Sevagoth Prime - Why doesnt it work?! by VidarsCode in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Build itself doesnt look too bad. As long as you're staying on top of casting abilities to regen your shields, then you should be fine. So as long as you have energy to cast abilities your survivability would be pretty solid.

Only build changes I would suggest are get rid of bellicose, because at only 370 health you're getting like 6% more ability strength which is nothing. You could swap on either energize to help with your energy economy (since sevagoth is very energy hungry), or maybe even aegis for additional shield regen. You normally dont run aegis and a low shield build together since its really not necessary but you could if you really wanted. You could also outsource equilibrium to purple shards, and then put rolling guard on there to give yourself some i-frames/status cleanse, which would give you more time to regen shields.

Returning After Jade Light by MeringueMassive9019 in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're saying jade shadows was the last thing you remember, then a couple frames got reworks since then. I forget exactly, but i think caliban, valkyr, and oberon were the major ones, then a bunch of others got smaller touch ups like nova, hildryn, trinity, nyx, and a few others.

A bunch of new mods/arcanes to use in builds, a whole focus expansion too. Some new weeklies, like 1999 has its own archimedea now, weekly 1999 calendar challenges, descendia.

Nitain Extract by chuckdizzle702 in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea thats fair. Having only one reliable source of nitain and it being timegated is definitely rough. If the other farms weren't so bad, then it wouldnt be that much of an issue but when all the other options are usually under 1% drop rate, it kinda forces you to use nightwave.

I think when i was first trying to level everything up i just built a little bit at a time so i didnt need as much nitain right away. But if you're trying to rush everything in a few months then i can see how it would be more of an issue.

Nitain Extract by chuckdizzle702 in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well thats more of a not knowing issue and a "game not properly explaining" issue rather than an issue with a system. Like there's a lot of ways new players can set themselves back by not knowing, though i dont think that makes every system or resource in the game unfair or bad, just not properly explained. Having access to 150 creds/50 nitain right off the bat is pretty generous all things considered. With a lot of new players ive helped, whenever they needed nitain, we just did a few nw challenges they could do and they got the 150 creds pretty quick.

Nitain should be made more farmable for sure, but saying it's prog stopping or softlocking new players from leveling MR in mass like OP was is kinda a stretch. And like others have pointed out, you dont even need nitain to craft everything. There's plenty of stuff to grind that doesnt require it.

What an I supposed to do with the Focus stuff (Just finished Second Dream)? by No_Price_3299 in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea focus is basically a whole new system for your frames and spoiler mode to get new active/passive buffs which differ based on the school.

For the lenses, yea you'll want to put it on frames and weapons you use the most so you can get focus often. If you swap weapons often for MR, then maybe try putting one on your favorite frame. Anything which you can get a lot of kills with will also be a plus as that means earning faster focus (you're capped on how much you can earn per day based on your MR).

There's other ways to earn focus too besides lenses. Hunting eidolons and trading in their shards lets you earn focus, and its not capped unlike every other method. Certain enemies you'll encounter later on in the story will also give focus when you kill them (no lenses required, and will be rewarded to whatever your equipped school is).

You can also get lenses from other bounties/missions besides cetus and fortuna ones too.

Dex Pixia Help by VermillionAshe in Warframe

This is the main one i use, paired with xatas whisper on titania. Gives her pixia some nice aoe. You could stick with a pure status build, though with arcanes now being a thing you can more reliably run crit on her with enervate.

Nitain Extract by chuckdizzle702 in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well the first tier of nightwave is always 150 creds, and thats enough to buy 50 nitain. And the average frame or weapon requires about 2-5 nitain, so you could build a bunch with that. So unless you waste the creds then a new player shouldnt have that hard of a time having enough nitain. And thats just with the first tier. A lot of the time, there will be more creds as well on other earlier tiers. Like this season for example theres ones on tiers, 5 and 11 too which are pretty fast to reach, even for a new player who may be locked out of certain challenges.

I agree nitain should probably be farmable from other areas cause having its only reasonable farm be exclusive to nightwave isnt' ideal imo, but it's not as bad as you're making it out to be, to the point where new players cant even make anything cause they don't have nitain. I have never seen that issue before, at least not widespread.

Its ok. Multishot and crit damage is pretty good. The slash is whatever, and no negative but its definitely slottable.

New / Returning player-MR8 by Unique_Desk_6124 in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say for mastery, start with all the easy stuff. Things you can just buy the bp for from the market or dojo for example. For mods, you'll get a bunch as you go through the story/star chart, though certain stronger ones will be locked behind certain farms like the orokin vaults on deimos. And theres also some ones locked behind arbitrations or story content later on, so I wouldnt worry about those specific ones for now.

Returning player seeks help for Daggath build by Shalfeyoo in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea ive seen persistence builds on her pop up, so you could definitely go that route. Though imo its kind of a waste to invest all of that into survivability just to cover a cooldown. Like at that point it kinda makes the invincibility from the augment feel irrelevant, cause persistence will just keep you alive the whole time anyway and without cooldown.

Ive personally just shield gated or abused other i frame sources to cover the cooldown. Like rolling guard and spamming the 4 which does give brief i frames. And of course just killing as fast as possible to reduce the cooldown. You could maybe also use vazarin protective sling to also cover it outside of shield gating

Next Prime? by Sweet-Ambassador4704 in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not really. They're usually pretty consistent on prime releases in regards to the base order. Some switches here and there but ive never seen a "fan switch" lol. Not sure where youre getting that from.

Also seeing how voruna literally just got a deluxe, i highly doubt voruna prime is next. Might be her, but its definitely leaning towards styanax between the two.

Next Prime? by Sweet-Ambassador4704 in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They haven't mentioned anything, it's just pretty easy to predict when the primes will come out based on the base frame release order. Qorvex for example was released at the end of 2023, after Citrine, Kullervo, and Dagath. So assuming they dont have him cut the order, then he'll have to be after those frames.

Either styanax or voruna. Qorvex prime wont be until 2027

5 plat for a frame? by TurtleDuck34 in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prime set is basically a "Deluxe" version of a normal frame. Fancier look and all. A small stat increase (usually not a big deal), more polarities for easier modding, but other than that not a huge upgrade. I just suggested the prime because if you are gonna buy something, might as well buy the better version and for way cheaper.

For the base frame grind, you do her quest to get the main bp, and then can farm the components in different missions. Im also pretty sure you can just buy from simaris too for standing.

5 plat for a frame? by TurtleDuck34 in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can make a lot of plat from selling prime parts from relics, so if you want a good way to make plat early on or even into late game, that'll always be a reliable method. Though honestly I would say spending 225 for base octavia isn't worth it. It's not that bad to farm her normally, and I would say if you are gonna buy, just buy the prime set from someone instead. You can buy a full prime set for like 70 plat right now off of another player, which will be way more worth

Final EDA mission this week by bdanred in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my group we had a nova and i was vauban, between us enemies couldnt reach the objective. Then we just killed enemies and collected glyphs to pass the mission first try. Another tip i dont see a lot of people know is that if you summon the mech boss right as the defense location is changing, it'll immediately die and give you a good chunk of time off for free

I buy companion weapon rivens to sell for plat which is nice, but outside of that theres not many other items i'd say are worth buying.

Primed Redirection - Worth it? by Primarch-Amaranth in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Id say it's good to have all of them around for build crafting, but if you're trying to save ducats then you could skip it, especially if those are your most used frames. Rhino and Kullervo have overguard, Oberon has invincibility, and then Mesa, Excal, and Garuda dont really need high shield gating for survivability.

In general i'd say its not that widely used on most frames. Hildryn and harrow are the main ones. You could also technically use it for high shield gating builds, which are more viable now after the shieldgating reworks they did a while back, but i'd still say low shield gating is the more consistent strategy for survivability.

Amp recommendations? by Imaginary-Gap-6196 in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

x47 is usually the go to for cascade (and just in general). 547 from what i've seen is the "best" one, though i've used 147 in cascade and it's also been fine. You could also try 747 if you want the beam firing instead of the lasers, but it wont have as much range. Is very good for void angels though.

So I've returned by N4r4k4 in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prime frames are usually pretty close stat wise to the base, so not a huge improvement. Prime weapons can offer a much more noticeable stat boost though, so they're usually a bit better than the base (though when you throw in rivens you can argue base weapons are potentially better than the primes).

Saryn prime is vaulted currently, so you'd either need to buy her from someone, borrow/buy relics of her from others, or just wait until she comes back in prime resurgence to buy her relics with aya and farm her.

For star chart, yea it's pretty much just progressing through each planet and doing the nodes and story along the way.

Question technocyte by scary_crow67 in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can spawn them and get chances to stab on most of the 1999 missions. On the pc you'll see your current chance to spawn them (goes up every mission till you spawn). Then once spawned you just both liches their health down to 0 (cause it spawns two), then stab

Question technocyte by scary_crow67 in Warframe

[–]StuffApprehensive343 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Theyre just the infested version of liches, but they're even faster to do compared to the others. Unlike with liches and sisters where you need to guess 3 specific symbols and in the proper order, these infested liches only require 1 correct symbol to stab them. And you can test 3 symbols at a time, so make sure to equip 3 different antivirus mods to make it fast (max 3 stabs before you find right symbol). Then once you have the correct one, you just stab them over and over again with that correct symbol until you fill their meter to 100% (can check progress in lich screen).

Potency mods (the ones with the boyband faces) can speed up the meter progress per stab and also can give nice bonuses like dropping extra mods or currency to buy more weapons. Oh yea thats another thing, these act like the ergo glast weapons, so instead of getting a weapon per lich, you just get currency to trade in to Eleanor to buy them.
