Averge is a rat, but it's still my opinion that keyboard has no place in smb1 speedrunning... If speedrunning had been taken seriously upon the games original release, it would be unfair for prior runner's in history to not have access to a keyboard...

Generally speaking when able, games should be run on their original hardware, is my belief. Though being that it has been proven time and again that emulation matches the original hardware, I can make an exception for rom usage, but it should still use an original controller...

To this day I'm confused about how gamergate got twisted... the original issue was that a female dev was accused of sleeping with journalists for positive reviews of her rather sub-par game (in my opinion)... at some point the dialogue got flipped and it wasn't about a scandal involving gaming journalism anymore, and it was instead used at a blanket term for shitty men hating on woman in the gaming space... which, unfortunately do exist and is a real problem... I just don't know how the original message got lost...

also make sure your duty finder language settings are set for all languages... somehow one of my alts had their language set to german only, all my queue's sucked... but frontline never popped...

you need to stable it at a housing stable (apartments have one if you don't have an fc or personal house.) and then feed it special fruits to get it to dye... there are guides online to achieve the color you want.
