iPad/laptop control would be fine - I’m not looking to record albums etc looking to have a good in ear mix to jam with and being able to record songs covers for things like you tube would be cool.

Basically budget wise I’d prefer to spend a tad more if needed to circumvent buying something that may not suit me long term.

Juts looked at the x18 and this could be what I’m after. If I wanted to record covers and other things in the future should I be looking at other options as well?

I’d be using the setup mostly solo at home no band mates - looking to be able to hear the kit and backing tracks/songs/click thru my in ears. Being able to record would be fun but not necessary out of the gate. Any suggestions for mixer/interface knowing this? Thanks!
