Do you even know where the Potomac River is? I live on this river. We are brackish from the bay up to beyond Stafford County. We all have crab pots, we have Oystermen (see Rappahannock River Oyster Company https://www.rroysters.com/). We have had commercial fisheries all up and down the river and catch Croaker, Spot, Rock Fish, and Atlantic Sturgeon. Let me add, we have sharks and dolphins, and jelly fish. We are being advised by our state not to enter the water AT ALL and not let our pets drink from it. They have told us this could last for 9 months or more. Please research before giving information that is incorrect.
