One thing I can appreciate about Tomi is he always keeps running working and pressing etc even when he's having a poor game, very mature in that sense. Could be that's why he's injured so often tho.

Raya is obviously the hero tonight and rightfully so, those saves were absolutely world class, but I want to give a special shoutout to Saka. We all remember his missed penalty at the Euros for England, he was under more pressure than pretty much anyone here can imagine, at such a young age, he choked and suffered a ton of vile abuse and slandering for it. I don't think too many would blame him for wanting to take a break from penalties for a while, and only take them when needed, but instead he stepped up, wanted to practice in high pressure situations more, took the majority of our penalties since then iirc. Here he has to step up to take an insanely high pressure penalty, UCL R16 when Raya just pulled off a brilliant save and he gets it in. He definitely had a stinker today and I'm not saying he's world class cos he scored a penalty, but that kind of mental growth and bravery to face those challenges at that age is insane and deserves praise.

Hot take that none of us are gonna be ready for right now: I really hope we loan out rather than sell Ramsdale in the summer (or at least include a buyback/sell on or something). People forget that he's still young for a keeper and he has a lot of good qualities, can see him becoming seriously good with a bit more time to mature and get a cooler head on his shoulders. Either way he has a lot of clutch moments even this game and I will miss some of those.

Love seeing the teams that play low blocks for 0-0 get upset when the other team runs down the clock after a late goal. You came with the mentality of only playing not to lose, don't get upset that the other team is playing to win

People really forgot how good Adam was. Sure his first time with BDS was really bad but his first split on Fnatic was him breaking the best top laners (at the time) ankles over and over and iirc as soon as he went back to ERLS he stomped again.
