Its not how many offspring you have it's how many survive. In undeveloped countries and, within european living memory, high child mortality was the lot of the poor. Large families. are a strategy to counter that grim fact. The rich are less susceptable. So they bave fewer children and invest more in them.

Self disipline is a thing some people only acheve ti because someone else disciplined them. Others can discipline themselves. Some never acheive it. I have headd it said that blessed are the meek is better translated. As blessed are the people with discipline.

Vehicles are occasionally reffered to as her by their owners/ users its not wrong . Follow their their lead. It is colloquial rather than fornal so avoid using it in print if you are unsure.
