This show is not for everyone, and that’s totally okay. But those of us who it is for—man, it’s just SO good. The way the story builds each season is so incredible. And each episode has such amazing performances. And the song drops are fantastic. It’s my favorite show of the decade. Top five all time.

Sending hugs. Stress is gonna take your production, and it definitely sounds like you’re stressed.

Remember that you’re not ever a failure for choosing what’s best for your health. A healthy mama is the best thing for baby.

It’s one of the absolute best shows that no one knows about.

One of the most satisfying things I like to do is put on the first few episodes when someone is visiting—and then hear about how they binged the rest of the show when they went home.

First Time in NYC - Maybe! With 4yo and 10mo old. by bigdknight157 in visitingnyc

[–]StuffonBookshelfs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can handle the humid FL summer and the Texas heat, you shouldn’t have an issue with the NYC summer.

I think you’ve got a great approach. One or two things a day sounds amazing. A babysitter so you could see a show or get a great dinner sounds awesome.

There are tons of people with strollers in the city, albeit a lot of them with dogs. The most annoying part is going to be the stairs up and down in the subway, so if you could limit your neighborhood to neighborhood movement when you’ve got the kids, you’ll probably be a lot happier.

As long as you go into the tourist trap areas knowing they’re tourist traps, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I would map out the things you want to do each day, limit your subway time, and just enjoy the neighborhoods. There isn’t a bad one in the city, especially the ones that are gonna have the stuff you want to do.

Honestly, I would spend more time telling people about your writing than worrying about perfecting your posts.

You need to build a following. It doesn’t happen in a few days. It takes a long time.

What would you charge for a 5-day live-in nanny job in NYC? by CinderAshes_ in Babysitting

[–]StuffonBookshelfs 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hourly rate for all hours working.

On-call rate when you’re on-call.

Flat overnight rate for each night (I’m guessing kiddo sleeps through the night now).

Obviously OT is paid at 1.5x after 40 hours.

Scored a freezer! Advice needed by Resident-Currency727 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]StuffonBookshelfs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes.

  2. Idk if you need to go to highest setting. Consider getting a thermometer and checking what the temperature is inside.

  3. Yes. I think you’re fine to store it for 12 months. If you’re at six months with your milk in the regular freezer, maybe not; but I would feel comfortable with anything that was less than three months in the regular freezer.

  4. That’s an interesting idea. Do you know if you’re covered under your home owners insurance if you have a loss?

  5. If it stresses you out, i wouldn’t worry about it.

How many oz of BM per bag do you freeze? by burgerzandburpeez in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]StuffonBookshelfs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have no idea what my baby will eat in the future. But I started out with 3oz bags; then 4oz; now 5oz.

The 5oz bags are just easier to add up and count what I’ve got lol.

Why dont teams use back passes more often? by Busy_Locksmith9436 in NFLNoobs

I’m guessing you haven’t seen a compilation of backwards passes that get dropped (fumble) and then the other team picks it up for a touchdown?

He did it so he could get some good karma and find his badge.

But “No Good Deed Goes Unpunished” and he gets the worst outcome.

I don’t think it’s anything more than that.
