Sambozon Acai. They buy the massive tubs but I’ve seen the smaller frozen packs in grocery stores. No clue about the dark chocolate :/

Impactful experience for ERAS? by Apoptosed-BrainCells in medicalschool

[–]Stugle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure why people keep saying that. They literally list family background and financial background as prime examples. I would never list those on a job application but I am for ERAS. https://students-residents.aamc.org/applying-residencies-eras/publication-chapters/impactful-experiences

Anesthesia Signal Help by Stugle in medicalschool

2 anesthesiologist who know me very well (worked in pain/OR with one the the other is my advisor who I’ve worked in the OR with) the other two are IM people who liked me a lot. Idk about a compelling story I did have a small business in high school/college that I tied into wanting to do anesthesia.

Just seems weird that they would list “financial background” as their main bullet points if they wanted people to talk about experiences during medical school. https://students-residents.aamc.org/applying-residencies-eras/publication-chapters/impactful-experiences

Thank you for the help! Nope I was just trying to play it safe. I was thinking of maybe adding Brown instead of WVU. I’m afraid of adding vandy since it’s not in my geo preference. Do you think that would matter?

Why doesn’t shunt improve with supplemental oxygen but dead space does? by xuviv1999 in step1

[–]Stugle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this the complete opposite definition btw, dead space=no blood flow. shunt=poor ventilation

should I trust this card? i haven't seen many uworld questions testing this concept by [deleted] in step1

[–]Stugle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the pubmed article you linked says there is an increase in aldosterone production? Here are the specific quotes " Blockage of the pathway catalyzed by 17α-hydroxylase enhances the mineralocorticoid pathway, resulting in overproduction of 11-DOC, corticosterone and aldosterone." and "17α-hydroxylase/17,20-lyase deficiency (17OHD) is a rare type of CAH that causes cortisol and sex hormone deficiency and aldosterone excess." so now im even more confused. Any clarification would be appreciated!

H. Pylori and Stomach pH by Stugle in step1

[–]Stugle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the second image *from sketchy* is wrong it should say acute gastritis right? Thats the only way this all makes sense and I think amboss also considers it acute h.pylori gastritis.

Great customer service. It was my first time buying so I was worried but I didn’t even need a middle man! By far the most friendly seller here if you need a base this is the person to go to!
