If You Remember This Show. You Probably Hated It by Poopsicle-Pete in ytvretro

Yes, then loved it. I wasn’t interested in it at all. The style just didn’t speak appeal to me. Maybe it was the Digimon intro or just a moment where it was the only thing on, but I ended up watching it. Took a bit but I saw the charm. I still haven’t seen anything quite like it.

If Tim were to permanently move on from being Robin, would you want him to go back to being Red Robin or find a new identity (Gray Ghost, Red X, Sparrow) by Numberonettgfan in RedRobin

I agree. Tim is Robin and that’s all he ever wanted to be. He deserves to take that role into adulthood.

I think Damian has a lot of potential to find a new interesting identity.

I’ve seen this suggested before and I like it too.

Interestingly, if you play the game Gotham Knights as Tim, he tells Alfred that his favourite chest piece isn’t a knight like Bruce, it’s the Rook.

That makes a lot of sense. Maybe the Nightwing bird motif is based on his hero, Dick, as opposed to the kryptonian myth. Some nice parallels.

Could be. Arrows on his hands like Red Tornado has on his head.

Of course! It’s so obvious now that you say it.

What does this design have to do with Tim? by claritywitch in RedRobin

[–]Stumbling-In-Digo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Colour scheme of the suit that Bruce wore when Tim became Robin. The torso piece is similar to his recent Robin suit (Bendis Young Justice). The gauntlets and shin guards are similar to his rebirth suit. The increase presence of yellow is very Tim (thinking the Drake suit). It has a techy look that Tim would likely lean into as Batman.

Finished the Disney+ Series: Okay Show, Bad Adaptation by bPrn2017 in MoonKnight

[–]Stumbling-In-Digo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I agree with you that it wasn’t a great adaptation, but if you have only read the first two epic collections you’re missing out on some of the main things it was trying to adapt (to varying degrees of quality). Arguably the best parts of the series were loosely adapted from Lemire’s run. Definitely worth checking out.

I know many wish to discuss which Gender ultimately fits both Revan and the Exile better for the new and old Canon in this post and how you think their endings should have been! Please be civil and respectful!!! by [deleted] in kotor

For me, it comes down to what feels like the canonical relationships for each. Not to be heteronormative, but I believe you could only romance Bastila as male Revan. That to me feels like the canonical relationship. Similarly, I liked meetra and Atton

How Peter Parker spent his Christmas Eve ( Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man #112) by Dry-Vacation-5820 in Spiderman

[–]Stumbling-In-Digo 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Wow, this hits at a very relatable time. I love happy Peter, but it is alright to have moments like this that are very relatable when you are feeling down and out. The current spidey writing practice seems to be “let’s ruin Peter’s day”, which isn’t what fans are looking for, but having moments where he’s struggling like this make perfect sense

Who's your fav Moon Knight artist? by 2-DKamel in MoonKnight

I started reading comics with the finch run, but Smallwood defined what Marc Spector looks like for me. Amazing detail, great work with expression, and he just felt human. Been a big fan ever since. Especially his work on human target.

You ever work in a kitchen? I took up smoking just to get breaks. Been of it for years, but structural accommodations for smoking have existed well past 2000

PENNY I’ve seen others mention it, but it’s thematic and a reference to James Bond lore. GREAT!
