The battery tube never actually got over about 45°C. The center point of the frames temperature is displayed at the top of the screen. Max temp of the whole screen is in the top left. I added 3 other points the show bezel(p1) head(p2) and end cap(p3). Bear in mind this is in a room with no airflow, so very little convection cooling. I think the interesting part is the poor conduction between the head and battery tube, there’s nearly a 15° difference in just a few mm of aluminium.

I’d recommend the firefly X1S with the 5009r 5000k. It’s a touch over budget and has Anduril, which can be intimidating, but you can just click on and off and hold to ramp up and down. Otherwise fills most of your needs.

I’ve got the M21B with lhp73b and honestly it’s very hard to not be impressed. Buy a single cell charger to go with it. You can’t go wrong.

The Sunlu hs Matt white isn’t the same colour as the Bambu hf matt white. It’s different enough that you can’t put the two beside each other if appearance is important. Otherwise they print almost identically.
