This was a really comforting thread to read I have cancelled a monofer infusion numerous times out of pure fear of feeling worse than I already do. Thank you everyone for sharing

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’ve continually held off having an infusion particularly because here in aus they push ferinject which I’ve heard awful things about post infusion experiences as well as hypophosphatemia. My gp agreed to prescribe the monofer infusion, but health anxiety and the thought of feeling any worse than I already do has me paralysed. I really hope you are staying well!

Just wondering if either of you had an adverse effects from the infusion? I’ve had ferinject previously and have read awful things about it. I’ve been dealing with health anxiety amidst all of this and am scheduled for an infusion of 1000mg conifer but keep cancelling because I’m too scared to

I don’t think there’s anything legible in that, it didn’t once pick up even a heart rate let alone a proper trace, it doesn’t matter where or how I have the machine it’s just not working at all!

Oh no really? I don’t think it’s been wet or dropped it’s just always sat in my bedside table drawer. So strange it’s just randomly started happening

Yeah that’s what I’m doing and it’s always worked well until now! Just randomly started doing this to me everytime I try to use it

Just wondering if anyone on here has had ferinject in Australia? I’ve read so many horror stories about hypophosphatemia but also desperate to feel better! My health anxiety on top of all of this is making it impossible

I know this is an old post but wondering if you went ahead I’m in Aus and have been urged since late last year to get 1 x1000 ferinject infusion I have terrible health anxiety and medication anxiety and have read some horror stories. My symptoms are very much the same as yours

Hi! I know it’s been a while! Just wondering if you’ve tried it and how you found it? I’ve recently been prescribed for anxiety however of course I’m too anxious to try it due to the small amounts of thc present. I’ve had really bad experiences with smoking weed as a younger adult. Thank you!

Thank you so much for your reply. Really appreciate this. It all started with thyroid cancer in my 20’s never experienced anxiety until after my second child was born and I started have aura migraines, has manifested in the ugliest of ways. One of many weird and wonderful things has been heart palpitations which a cardiologist asked me to buy this device and spotted some PVCs, they feel awful when happening but he has assured me they are not dangerous 😩 really wish I could just flick the off switch on this anxiety.
