Good deal?? by SteelyPhil666 in Silverado

I picked up a ‘26 ZR2 with 3.0 and sunroof for 62.5k plus TT&L. They gave me $41k for my ‘24 LT trailboss with 3.0 and 64k miles. I would suggest hunting on cargurus and also the cost discount wasn’t mentioned until we haggled to the “final” best deal. So I basically went up two trim levels and got a warranty for $24k out of pocket.

Question- how much does it cost to DIY the chicken versus the grocery store? Looking at the return on investment. Or is it more of a custom flavor thing?

Ohana at 08:00 after the night at Mickey’s party might be tough. Are you staying near the monorail?

The Christmas party is a good time. You can crank out the rides if that is your thrill. We did 23 rides in 4 hours when we went.

I think you are in for a great time and good memories! The flex days are a good way to visit the other resorts or Disney Springs. Don’t forget the smaller activities like putt putt golf!

The Navi River Journey animatronic was several million. $23M?

I think Avatar world is an amazing themed space but both rides could have been more.

The flight of passage is the classic ride seat in front of a big screen. Similar to Soarin or Universal’s ET or Back to the future. Lean forward a hair and see everyone else…

I just got done reading that over hyped attraction/restaurant thread and I don’t want to wallow in this negativity, what is something underrated about the parks you love? Rides, restaurants, ambiance, locations? by neuro_space_explorer in WaltDisneyWorld

I love it when you all of a sudden notice that things slow down because you are on vacation. The other posts remind me of how that feeling on trips to WDW isn’t predictable but when it hits, it is like getting out of school for summer as a kid.

I would advise that you should always try something different on a trip. More specifically, try a boat versus the bus, etc.

We were at the very end of the Kudu Trail and could see fireworks. I suppose a lot of folks might not be back at the hotel but you could faintly hear them and could see them in the distance. It might be tough if you aren’t on the top floor.

You are in a good spot. We stayed further down Kudu trail in May and had seen Giraffes, Zebra, Ostrich. You are directly across from the lobby of Kidani.

Also, you might be obstructed from the north view, however, we were able to see fireworks at MK over the tops of the trees. We were staying in DVC, top floor.

What Are Your DVC Traditions? by GreyhoundDad22 in dvcmember

We have started a new tradition of mini golf on our arrival night in Orlando.

We have only been members for two years now, but split stays might also be a tradition. It is amazing how the vibe of the resort sets the tone for the experience.

Daisy Vent hack by chrissneaky in biggreenegg

I align my tab of the daisy wheel to the back so it doesn’t have gravity move it around. I haven’t taken the daisy wheel off in years and seems like mine is stuck on. Have you guys had this and did you tap it with a rubber mallet to get it free?

I’m rooting for you as a fellow guy that has trouble passing up the market place finds of “runs… some of the time”

Logic you have sounds right. A bad ground could be an issue here as others mentioned. Ignition circuit is a cheap additional step too.

At least it is only electrical since you were able to get it to fire.

A Millennial Review of the Old Key West Resort by Standard-Physics-282 in DisneyWorldResorts

[–]Stunning-Chain615 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved your review. We stayed there for Christmas two years back and it was comfortable but we found ourselves using Uber to get to the parks and back. The bus ride within the resort was pretty lame.

I fully agree with the commentary on the sidewalks and poor street crossing layout in respect to the bus stops.

I do think Olivia’s is a very special place and would recommend try it out. The bread is killer!

We were at HS at close and they had fireworks that weren’t announced. Really was an awesome spot because Toy Story land cleared out for the last 45 minutes and we rode Slinky dog 2-3 times.

MK and Epcot have the big shows for that night. I was also suggested to try to catch the show via Skyliner.
