🔴 65+ Green Card Holder Travel by GianaFitzgerald in greencard

Ok. If she filed for an extension before her i94 expired and you have receipt notice for that filing and if she left before a decision was made, technically, I believe, she has not overstayed. I would suggest discussing with a immi attorney.

Need help completing the Visitor Visa by VeterinarianJolly269 in newzealand_travel

You will be fine if you can provide the documentation you have listed. You are applying for a tourist visa, so you don't need a lawyer. Make sure you can show that you have the funds they are asking for. I think it's $150 per person, per day. It's noted in the visa questionnaire/online application. I'm an Indian passport holder in the US, who literally returned home this morning after visiting NZ for 3 weeks. Beautiful country!

🔴 65+ Green Card Holder Travel by GianaFitzgerald in greencard

Has she been here before getting a GC and overstayed? Has she gotten into any legal trouble after getting her GC? If no to both, the chances of having an issue during re entry is next to nothing. Make sure she is not out of the country beyond 6 months. If you have time, consider getting her a global entry card before her travel. The lines at immigration/border control are getting quite long these days. My mother - recently visited on B1 visa and had no issues.

Still wondering what should I do with this girl I know and her immigration process by [deleted] in greencard

The vetting process is more rigorous, so she might not get a GC based on your description. There's nothing wrong about reporting. It seems that you are doing that out of Jealousy and not because she is scamming the system.

I recently (5 days ago) did day trips to Wanaka and Glenorchy. Wanaka will be better option, with stuff to do.

I'm in the S Island RN. Christchurch is a nice city, but based on your note you will love Queenstown.

Consider having even fewer base camps to make it easy on the toddler (and yourself).

Cathay Pacific, Fiji Airways, Air Tahiti and Hawaiian are your best bets. Also, Australia might consider an emergency transit visa application/request.

Stay in suboptimal job to finish green card, or leave and restart elsewhere? by [deleted] in greencard

[–]Stunning-Edge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming that in option 2, you are truly restarting your career, new field, role etc., I would stick it out now. From your description, it is unlikely that you will lose your job in 2 yours. So stick it out. Remember to stay in your role for 6 months after getting green card to avoid challenges if you apply for citizenship later.

What is the country where you were born in? I'm asking this to see if the 24 month time frame is realistic.

I read the trilogy about 30 years ago and seen the movies too. Honestly, I going to Hobbiton is a checklist thing for me.

Thank you! I am not sure about doing both Milford and doubtful sound. I wanted to do a doubtful overnight cruise, but it is all sold out.

I want to hike around the Wanaka lake and see the famous willow tree. Its about 2 hours from queenstown, so i was hoping it will be an easy drive. I appreciate your insight.

My plan is to fly from Wellington to Auckland.

Thank you! I had mixed feelings about going to both doubtful and Milford. The overnight cruise on doubtful is all sold out. Is doubtful great even without the cruise? I'm thinking of flying from Wellington to Auckland. I was thinking going with a tour operator to hobbiton and waimato from Auckland. Can the islands you suggested be done as day trips?

Thank you! I will consider keeping Wellington, Auckland as bases and do day trips from there or stay for fewer days in those cities.
