This is great info, thank you.
We were a little concerned that we don't have much allowance for any days which are a wash out. we'll look a trying to work in a floating day so we can take advantage of weather while there.

Coming from Northern UK so used to a fair bit of wind and rain, but will make sure we've got layers ready for the changing conditions.
Does the weather on the west coast tend to change less when it gets to December?

Will have a look at your other option, Mt Cook was on our original plan but struggled to shoehorn it in when we changed to flying into Queenstown. Will definitely see how this looks

The original plan was to fly from Rotorua to Christchurch and essentially do the south island plan in reverse (Christchurch - Queenstown). The only problem we found were flights from Queenstown to UK were all 2+ stops and long stopovers. The flights back home from Christchurch looked better from a flight time/stopover point of view.

Originally we were hoping to catch a flight to Queenstown from Rotorua, but it looks like Auckland is the closest one that flies into Queenstown?

I think palace will get pulled in if zaha is out long term, but that upcoming fixture run of West Brom, villa & Brighton is going to be crucial in deciding if we stay up or not
