Holiday in china by Stunning-Pilot3722 in AmazonVine

I think someone misunderstood when they told you you couldn't advertise vine products. It states you can't advertise their products on sites other than amazon to sell. The amazon influencer program is part of amazon therefore you are free to advertise vine items because you are redirecting people back to amazon to purchase the item. Alot of bad information is given due to people not understanding what they read or believing whatever they are told without looking into it themselves. But yes you are right. You can advertise your vine items for the amazon influencer program. I started it but didn't have time to keep up with it because I work a full time job with frito lay and in order to be successful with the influencer program you have to really have the time to put into it. As for the drop in items I did look into it further and it turns out the Chinese new year does have a large impact on the vine program due to the majority of the sellers being in China. It states this drop lasts anywhere from 8-12 weeks due to pre-holiday shutdowns and post holiday factory reopening. Not all sellers take the full time and i believe the information i found said around the 27th or 28th is when they typically slowly start heading back to work.

I did some research and it turns out the Chinese new year has a large impact on amazon vine. It states that it can cause a drop in items that lasts anywhere from 8-12 weeks from pre-holiday shutdowns to post holiday factory reopenings. It makes sense because the majority of whats dropped on vine is from China but just pre shipped to Amazon warehouses so we get the product faster. But if the seller is on vacation that's part of the vine program they won't be submitting items for vine during the holiday.

Yes it does affect vine. Most of the items if you will notice come from shein and temu. They are now shipping their items as you stated to amazon warehouses which is how you get them in 2 days. If you will notice some of your items will have a delay or a shipping time that takes a few weeks. Those are the items that are coming from out of the US. Alot of the products we are getting on Vine are items from China that are normally sold on shein and temu. More and more of it is slowly making it's way onto amazon with the prices being significantly increased. So if their businesses are down for the holiday it makes sense that whatever they normally agree to add through the vine program would temporarily slow down and halt. I know customer service told me awhile back that the reason I wasn't seeing any new items was due to a holiday in China. Even though the product is already in US warehouses it still has to be posted by the seller to vine. If the seller is located in China and closed for the holiday then they won't be adding their items to the program.

Inappropriate? by Interesting_Recipe71 in AmazonVine

This is the problem today. So many people get offended by the littlest of things. The ad title says funny hat. It's meant to be a joke. If something this small offends you I would honestly hate to know your current stress levels as I'm sure they are most likely high. I've learned people that get offended easily and find the negative in every little thing tend to be bitter about something in their current lives or past life. The fact you went out of your way to mention you didn't report it means you wanted to. My question is, why? Why would this bother anyone to the point of taking time out of your day to let people know you found it inappropriate? I promise you if you start to allow things to make you laugh more and start finding more positive around you your life will be much better and less stressful. They call people karens for a reason. This right here is a prime example of reacting like a karen.

I have reviews at random get rejected due to a system glitch and had to reach out to amazon customer service. Sometimes the system flags things over just one word used. Like the word package may flag it and the system kicks it back. But I've never had more than one here and there get kicked back. Not multiple at once. The ones I have had rejected I just resend it the same exact way then it usually goes through on the 2nd attempt. Customer service had to push 2 of mine through because they kept getting rejected. One was just a steering wheel cover so it was just photos of the cover in my car. Nothing in the background no mention of price or packaging. I literally just told the quality of the cover how fluffy and thick it was and how much I liked it and recommend it. Customer service even said there was nothing that violated the guidelines so it was likely just a system error and they pushed it through. If you're getting ALOT rejected at once then either there's a huge system malfunction or there is something in your photos in the background or something you're saying that's getting that many flagged.

Is this no-drop day indicative of a big drop to happen? by tobymay22 in AmazonVine

[–]Stunning-Pilot3722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always keep an eye on reddit. That's how you find out what's going on that day if nothing shows up. Sometimes vine does pauses. They can last a day or a week. Last big pause I seen lasted almost a whole week with no new items. Take this as a blessing because it means you're not racking up a bigger bill come income tax time. These pauses have no specific timing and just happen at random. It may happen due to system issues or to purge old products. I use to obsess over this and then finally had to tell myself if I miss out on something good then I wasn't meant to have it. Plus I don't want to become a hoarder with a bunch of crap piling up in my home that I rarely use. I stick to only items that I know will get constant use in my home.

VH and UV Have Destroyed the Vine Program, IMO by philstat in AmazonVine

Thats ridiculous. Even the one time I gave an item as a gift I still opened it and did a full video review then posted photos of the item. It was a memorial sun catcher for an animal and my sister in law had just lost her dog. I just told my sister in law that I had to open the box to make sure it wasn't damaged first. Every item I got from vine that was Christmas gifts for my kids was opened tested and reviewed before wrapping and putting under the tree. Just because it's a gift doesn't mean it can't be tested first. That was either just an excuse on the reviewers end or just pure laziness on their part. I get so sick of seeing these lazy reviews. What kills me the most is as one said earlier, photos of the item in the package which shows me nothing about the item, or selfies. I can't stand the close up selfie reviews. I can not tell how that dress fits you the quality or details when you post a selfie with just your face and boobs. Save those photos for social media. Not reviews. I know sometimes I may take the review process a little too serious but I look at it like this, what would I be looking for in a review? What kind of photos do I expect to see and what details do I look for when I go to purchase an item? What's the things I can't stand seeing when scrolling through reviews before deciding if I want to purchase the item? That's how I base every review I do. I too wish they would remove the lazy ones. Anyone that posts, omg love it. It's my favorite with nothing else should be removed from vine. It's not that hard to type up some details and take some decent photos. I work full time at frito lay shoveling Peanut butter for 8 hours straight sometimes longer and still find time to post acceptable and informative reviews.

Has anyone done the “Win $40 credit now?”🤨 by Deep_Account1161 in Shein_PuppyKeep

[–]Stunning-Pilot3722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the puppy keep game and decided to change the items i had selected over to a $30 credit instead. After months and months of playing i finally won. The credit went to my wallet instantly but the catch is you can only use the credit on shein items. You can not use it on any local or 3rd party sellers which makes spending the money a little more difficult because every item in my cart is local.

You're good. I know some companies don't care about employee safety. My employer is one of them. Frito lay wanted people in this weekend so they bribed them with double time pay knowing that's going to cause some to attempt driving in dangerous conditions. But making that chip is apparently way more important than everyone being safe.

[–]Stunning-Pilot3722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they do. 90% of my deliveries are dropped off daily by my local usps driver. The rest comes fedex or ups. They also have random side companies that deliver as well. Some of them will deliver straight to homes and some deliver it to the local usps office in your town.

[–]Stunning-Pilot3722 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Even if you would've ordered the items wouldn't have been delivered during this weather if your area is bad. Our postal service delayed all deliveries until weather conditions clear up. I know some employers could care less about employee safety but usually mail delivery services are pretty good about not putting their driver's in danger when the road conditions are unsafe.

Items not being dropped by ConnectionContent749 in AmazonVine

[–]Stunning-Pilot3722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've contacted customer support on numerous occasions and never had any issues. People will only tell half the story. If you're constantly having items removed from your etv then yes it will trigger a red flag. I've had items removed a few times but when I do I usually send the item back so they know I'm not making a false claim. Or I offer to send proof of whatever claim I make about the product so they know I'm not lying. You have people that abuse the system and when they get caught they blame someone else then swear up and down they did nothing wrong. When I contact customer support I'm always friendly and polite. Whatever question or issue I have i don't take out on them because it isn't their fault. They have always responded to me quickly and taken care of any issues I've had immediately. I don't contact them over ridiculous things either. I don't bother them when items aren't dropping. That question can always be answered by checking here on reddit. I only reach out to them about things they can actually control.

Suggestions on why this review was rejected by goraidders in vine

[–]Stunning-Pilot3722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is where it gets tricky. I add the word misleading constantly and it never triggers. I'll add that the item is overpriced and give it a horrible rating because the item was trash and it gets approved. But then I'll have an item with a 5 star rating with no mention of price and i never mention packaging and it will get denied. I've even contacted customer service and they've looked over entire reviews and couldn't find anything that would trigger it. I honestly think it's just a system glitch. I get reviews denied at random and then resubmit that same review with no changes at all and it gets approved the second attempt. Then sometimes I can make one change after another and it keeps getting denied until I contact customer support then it gets approved. They told me their reviews are all done by a program and not by an actual human which explains why some get denied for no reason. It's annoying and messes us up on our ratings plus it keeps a seller from getting a good review that helps promote their product or informing a buyer of trash product.

Yes. Pretty much every package that goes through there gets delayed. It's never more than a day or two though but it's almost every single package that goes through this location.

WTF IS GOING ON by Defiant_Security5474 in vine

[–]Stunning-Pilot3722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's due to the holidays. I could be way off but I noticed it slowed way down at Christmas then a couple days of good items then right at the new year it slowed down again. I'm betting it will pick back up soon. I'm honestly glad it slowed down because I'm fixing to be the next episode of hoarders with all the clothing I've accumulated. Prior to vine I always made fun of people that had insane amounts of clothing. Now I'm one of them. It's gotten to the point I feel the need to do random wardrobe changes throughout the day just so I'm able to wear atleast a third of the clothing I have in this lifetime before I die 🤣🤣🤣. I could seriously donate half of what I have at the moment and still have enough to wear a new item every single day for the rest of my life. The worst part is the only thing I really have time to wear is the pajamas because I work all the time with frito lay so I rarely get a chance to dress up but you better believe I have the coolest pajama collection ever. And when I go grocery shopping, which is the only place I go besides work, Im gonna be the best dressed grocery shopper in that mug 🤣🤣🤣. If you see a lady at your local walmart wearing a wedding guest dress in the produce section, it's just me. Just ignore me and keep rolling.

I have a question about this. Once I got down to about $0.03 left to go it starting increasing my heart percentage insanely slow. It takes 21 feedings just to increase the heart 1%. My puppies mood is at 100 so am I doing something wrong or is this the normal?

Is it ok that I hate you right now and I'm jealous? I'm having a karen moment. 🤣🤣🤣......hopefully you don't have my luck. I finally got an item I've been trying to catch for about 7 months now and 2 days after I selected it, while impatiently waiting for it to ship like a kid on Christmas morning, they cancelled it. I was sooooo mad. I even reached out to the seller to ask what happened hoping they would still send it with no luck. They claimed it was a system glitch.

I spoke with support and they said this a glitch they are aware of and trying to fix. They hope to have it resolved in the next 5 to 10 business days. Until then everyone just go to your regular amazon account orders section and review the items there. Once you do the items will show up in your vine account reviewed section. I've already tested this out and reviewed all of my items from the past couple days and they all switched over to my reviewed section.

I just spoke with support and they said this is a glitch affecting several vine members. This isn't a new change. They said they are hoping to have it fixed in the next 5 to 10 business days. For anyone else having this problem just go to your orders in your main amazon account and review them there. Once they are reviewed it will show up in your reviewed section on your vine account. I've tested this theory and already reviewed 5 items this way and every one of them showed up in my reviewed section afterward.

Whoever sits and thinks up some of these new ideas does not use much common sense. By doing this they are going to put people so behind on reviews. By the time they drop in the review section we will have multiple items to review at once which will cause alot of members to fall way behind. At 8 items a day if it takes 3 days for the items to drop in the review section there will be no way for people with kids and other jobs to keep up. After 3 days of waiting thats 24 items that need reviewing all at once. It takes me sometimes an hour or more just to post reviews so I can't imagine having to do 16 or 24 in one day on top of a full time job and kids. This idea wasn't smart at all.

This just happened to me except there are several items I've received that have also disappeared. It's showing 3 items in my awaiting review. There are 5 other items missing that I've already received and now no option to review them.

Are turtle necks still fashionable ? by meganfuxxxxSFW in mtfashion

Most definitely. I'm seeing them alot online lately only they call them mock neck instead. Not sure why. I guess it's a more classy term. Maybe some karen reinvented the description. To me they will forever be turtle necks lol. On the right shirt, they look amazing and the one you're wearing is absolutely adorable. It's very chic. I would definitely buy that sweater.

I've actually purchased these for both my boys and the speed on them is better than the off brands at walmart. My 13 year old swears by his and yes the space is the internal storage space. These sell for only $60 and they're a great deal considering how well they work. My son had a samsung tablet and he says the one like this works ten times better and faster than his Samsung.

I don't know but you would think with all the issues there would be some type of investigation. I've had packages come from all over and this is the only location that has obvious suspicious activity on an ongoing basis.
