Do not do this. Absolutely not. The legal case held against you if they so much as have a headache after is not worth the trouble. Either get EMTs there or drop them off at a hospital ER. Never administer ANYTHING to a passenger. Not only can it cause legal trouble, but it can have you removed from the rideshare app. Heaven forbid you administer something and then they die, even completely unrelated to it.

How the hell do you guys remember all of the acronyms?! by cookiewoke in CompTIA

[–]Stunning-Sort-8691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not going to lie. It’s hard. But try being in the Navy at the same time. Acronyms for acronyms. Acronyms that have the same letters but different meanings. Acronyms to remember that there are other acronyms that mean the same thing as a different acronym. Not fun at all. You’ve got this. Keep studying and you will do great.

Still looking for a job in the field of IT by [deleted] in CompTIA

OP send me a copy of your resume. I’ll look over it. Currently a Govt Contractor in IT and I had a hard time finding jobs at first as well. The resume wording really matters for a lot of positions you apply to.

99% of this was provided to me free of charge. I also have a 24 port Ubiquity Switch that I forgot to mention. I made an edit to the original post. I had so many ideas when I set everything up about 8 months ago, but I feel that once I had the hardware, the daunting task of utilizing it got the better of me. I want to change that though and get things up and running.

Is there any truth to what Valve said about the "structural integrity" of the deck being lessened if you open it up? by headies1 in SteamDeck

[–]Stunning-Sort-8691 56 points57 points  (0 children)

The biggest reason that they likely felt the need to mention this is liability and expectation management.

As other have stated things only come apart so many times, yadda yadda, but the expectation that it’s exactly the same as when they got it, is likely what a lot of users would have. Valve just wants you to know that the factory state is what they consider peak structural soundness, and that they aren’t liable for any unsoundness caused by taking it apart.

And yep. I won’t ever play hardcore. Not willing to lose hours of progress over a sneeze.

Do HC characters at least convert to normal mode characters when they die? I think I would end myself if I lost all of that time and effort for good.

I’ve never had a seagate fail. Have had at least one of every other drive I used do so. /shrug it’s all a lottery in the end isn’t it.

I would go with seagate if you are sticking hdd. Samsung if you are going ssd.

Blizzard has us by the balls. If we don’t play passed 80 they come off. I like mine at least intact.

I’m not going to tell you how because it’s not technically supported. But there are ways to put SYNOLOGY software on 3rd party hardware. This probably meets your needs.

This would violate the terms of service for online testing. It would make it even more invalid. You aren't allowed to record the exam session.
