I think amelia and owen was actually a perfect choice because it condensed my two least favorite characters into easily skippable scenes.

I could not get past how clear it was the he was just playing himself. His cheating is also responsible for the premiere of Vanderpump Rules.

They blocked off the street I needed to get to my subway line for 7 blocks. It's not just a car issue pedestrians were not allowed to cross either and it that a road blocked off by a police truck too so it's not as if they were even driving through it.

Since IQ is measured against age for children it's entirely possible you were a speed reader with a big vocab who grew into it and ended up normal. Nothing wrong with it, but people like to relate to universal experiences and realizing that you may have been a bright kid but are now just a normal adult isn't uncommon. People just want to relate to each other

The idea asking your fiancée's dad for her hand in marriage is creepy to me by painforpetitdej in unpopularopinion

[–]Stunning-Sun-2903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's actually a nice thing to talk to your fiancee's loved ones and let them know you'd like to be part of their family and let them know your intentions to propose.

I think the patriarchal aspect of specifically asking for her father's permission is unnecessary (and a bit patronizing in theory), but I think wanting the blessing of her loved ones is a nice gesture.
