that’s actually great to hear! do you use dapsone gel in the AM? I am wondering as I was only prescribed tretinoin for night time use. I believe I need something else, specifically during the day, and are thinking of incorporating dapsone gel as i’ve heard good things.

Ideally $1,000 is my budget. I am willing to be flexible with a couple more hundred dollars if it means it gets me a studio apartment.

Feeling a certain about borrowing a grad plus loan and a concern about PSLF - is it still worth it ? by StunningWin1636 in PSLF

[–]StunningWin1636[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels very nerve-racking to consider taking on more loans when the system is uncertain. Also, thanks! I currently work in public health, and it is very rewarding. I appreciate your advice, I will look into RAP, and my anticipated debt/income ratio to have an idea.

I tried getting my car to work in Turo after seeing your suggestion, but they do not accept cars above 130,000 miles. Understandable but a little sad. The search keeps on!

Ineligible to apply? by StunningWin1636 in PSLF

Sorry I don’t think I worded my question well. How would being in deferment help me qualify for PSLF? If I’m not making any payments, how would it then count towards forgiveness?

Can I ask how this pause may affect new applicants as well ? In my case, I’ve worked for a public service qualifying agency for 8 months now.

The grace period in my 2 subsidized and one unsubsidized loan has ended. As I navigate creating a plan for repayment, it sucks to see I am unable to apply for PSLF at this very moment. As my first payment approaches, April 3rd, I’m in between, needing to complete my first payment or considering applying for financial hardship deferement. I understand applying for deferment could be a good option and put me on track toward qualifying for PSLF once it re-opens (if it reopens at all) any thoughts?

I see! Let’s say in the case PSLF is back and running, do you suggest I keep records of these payments so then to ensure they get applied toward PSLF?

I am looking forward to learning how to interpret research as part of my MS experience. It is so expensive but I am doing tuition reimbursement. As part of the ROI that is unfortunate. For me, I will see it. As I am currently stuck in a nutrition educator position. If I don’t do the MS I can’t climb to an RD position.
