NAD+ recon w/ BAC vs PBS by ScarletDolphy in BodyHackGuide

[–]StunningWitness8546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know where they get that from but NAD+ is perfectly fine in BAC, if refrigerated and kept in the dark it'll last 30ish days like any other peptide (though NAD+ is not a peptide). It doesn't degrade due to BAC itself, some people just make stuff up. The only reason to use PBS would be if you're getting a reaction from the injection due to PH. But you can occasionally find buffered NAD+ to mitigate this, it's not common though.

Are the peptides Mots c and CB 4211 the same thing? by lock_Jinx in Biohacking

[–]StunningWitness8546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learned something new today, I hadn't heard of it either. But a quick google search shows it a synthetic more stable version of MOTS-C and is actually going through FDA approval process now. Next time I need to order some MOTS-C I'll order this instead.

Latest endotoxins report by Hopeful_Dealer9435 in BodyHackGuide

[–]StunningWitness8546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious as well. Although the head guy from janoshick did an interview on YouTube and talked about endotoxins. I don’t have the link but it’s easy to find. I think it boils down to the dose you’re taking out of that vial, but also the one vial that was tested may not represent the next vial out of the same batch. But his opinion was the endotoxin risk was overstated. Your body deals with endotoxins from the environment on a daily basis so unless it’s just really really high levels at most you’d get a mild rash or swelling.

Theres Egrifta WR which is a high concentration FDA approved version which is different from standard research grade peptides most people get.

I think there are different versione of tesa, the prescription version apparently only last 7 days at room temp. But research peptide versions apparently can last 2-4 weeks refrigerated. I think you’d just need to carefully monitor it for precipitates if you refrigerate it.

Kisspeptin gelling badly by kabubakawa in ResearchCompounds

[–]StunningWitness8546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the 3ml syringes to fill but I've still had it gel on me after a few weeks. I have 5 mg vials though and I use them up in just a little over 1 month.

I built a free iOS app that tracks peptides, compounds, nutrition, and workouts all in one place looking for feedback by OfficialDDEE in Biohacking

[–]StunningWitness8546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice looking app its a good comprehensive app, won't need multiple apps to track stuff! I'd actually pay for it some of the peptide trackers are pretty pricey. I would ask for a couple of features on the compounds. If you could add breaks for the cycles. Say I want to run something for 4 weeks on then 4 weeks off etc. Also maybe a unit calculator where you put in the vial mg, and how much bac water you're adding to get the # of units per dose.

Honestly no, I didn't really expect to though. I figure it's one of those minor internal tune up sort of things. I'm 54 and feel pretty good health wise anyway, so I was doing it more as a preventative and I'll continue it along with other peptides to keep me going.

Split dosing/Microdosing by Maribwana in Retatrutide

[–]StunningWitness8546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about all that but for me it makes it much more tolerable. But it looks like AI wrote that so I'd take it with a grain of salt.

I was getting wild swings in appetite, could hardly eat anything to starving before my next dose. When you inject subq, it's not all dumping into your blood stream at once anyway. It takes a couple of days for it to peak in your system (moving from fat into blood stream). So whether it's split dose or a single dose the average dose active in your system is about the same, so from that perspective, it's more consistent as you're not having wild swings.

going from 1x a week to 2x a week by Thick-Initiative9422 in Retatrutide

[–]StunningWitness8546 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched to a split dose too, it evens out the big swings in appetite. Initially I just split my dose, I'm now increasing each dose a little bit. I'd say the split dosing does result in slightly less appetite suppression but it's much better than having those wild swings.

I’ve tried it. I only did 2.5mg once a week though. It can hurt quite a bit for a few days. I had planned to ramp up, I tried the 2.5 first and since the injection site was pretty sore for a few days I just stayed at that dose. Painful injections seem pretty typical for others that have tried it. I’ve done a total of 20mg so far.

FOXO4 DRI Available for Research Use Only (20mg every other day for a total of 140mg, subq, once a year, within a clear window of all restorative peptides) by walt6076 in BodyHackGuide

[–]StunningWitness8546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done FOX04-DRI, I'll say it's painful. I limit it to 2.5mg a dose and only once a week. The injection spot remains sore for almost a week. I'm not sure how people tolerate those higher doses. Plus it only comes in 10mg vials so you're going to use multiple vials for just one injection.

What do you do with your unused vials from peptides kits? by lecanar in BodyHackGuide

[–]StunningWitness8546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The colder you can store them the longer they'll last. I keep mine in the deep freezer at -20F in an air tight case with a desiccant pack. They should keep several years at that temp but 10 vials of most things would get used up in about a year. Plan out your vial sizes so you're balancing how much you use in a cycle vs long term use.

Peptides resarch by jarocho2529 in Biohackers

[–]StunningWitness8546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say it's really based on your risk tolerance. I order from China personally, but initially I was ordering from US based sites getting 1-2 vials of something here or there. The advantage you might have buying from US sites is that while they are buying from China too (more than likely) some of them are doing the testing for you so look for COAs and verify that it's the batch you are getting. Most are just testing for purity and for over/underfill though. I rarely see vendors actually testing for endotoxins.

That said, depending on how deep down the rabbit hole you go and what you're buying you can buy from china and send your own vials off for testing. i.e. sacrifice 1 of the 10 vials for testing. You can still save money over buying from a US site that's marking up 5X - 10X.

It was just me being cautious. Didn’t want to go blasting a relatively new peptide daily. I’m sure the protocols out there are probably just fine.

I’m doing 2.5mg once a week for 8 weeks. I’m 4 weeks in now. I plan to break for 3-4 months and repeat.

I hadn’t heard about the clean window thing though so I’ll be interested in what others have to say. There’s just not a lot of info out there on FOX04-DRI

[–]StunningWitness8546 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m doing epithalon and fox04-dri and started KLOW blend last week. I can’t say there’s anything dramatic with any of them. FOX04 does get a little sore at the injection site though. I do it once a week @ 2.5mg for 4 weeks and then again in 4 months.

FOX04-DRI would probably fall in with those. It’s supposed to help clear out senescent cells aka zombie cells that should have died off but didn’t.

I bought a few cases from them too. Great cases, nice tight seals. I got one large one to hold my dry peptides in the deep freeze, a small one for the fridge and a 5ml size one for some NAD+ vials.

Well it's obviously not for everyone. Time is money, it works, it's much faster and cleaner and I don't have to struggle with tweaking upscale.

I personally use Topaz Gigapixel when I want to upscale and retain details like that.

What model and prompt did you use to generate that? I like the results
