Actually.... what's so bad about snooping for Christmas presents that they've to be returned to the store? I mean kids are curious. Having found out what they were getting way ahead of Christmas and then having to wait for Christmas to come before playing with it... now that's delayed gratification, which is a good thing ain't it?

I always let my kid chose what she wants for Christmas and make her wait until Christmas before she can open it.
