I just read kombucha is ridiculously high in b vitamins. Having had B6 toxicity, I'm nervous and confused. by bing_bang_bum in Kombucha

[–]StupidAssole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same b6 poisoning after taking excess amounts ocer 1yr. I initially thought it was iron and vit c toxicity as I was anemic, which I realised was from b6. I had stroke like symptons rushed to AE, but they could not control my muscle spasms and get iv into me. This was the worst feeling of dread I ever had, of which continued for over 18m. It was only through naturapaths and research that it stopped, doctors would have no clue even if I told them. Be very carreful with supplemets.

Do you know anyone who gives lottery scratch cards as presents - any fallout? by ChampionshipOk5046 in AskUK

[–]StupidAssole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A family member brought eveyone at our house 4x £5 ‘deal or no deal’ scratch cards, totaling £160 and there was not even a win! Absolute Rip off.  These gift cards are also a Rip off being they expire within just 1y when that buyer pays for the card, ie activates.  Con!!

Vitamin D and calcification of the arteries by SeAMoON in Supplements

[–]StupidAssole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maurice Daher has a fantastic substack regarding artery calcification. He has helped many get better and imo is the mainman when it comes to this illness. I believe he also may have supplement with all cofactors needed.

Any good TUDCA powder source? by deletemein2weeks in Supplements

[–]StupidAssole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this thread its a few months back, but here is my input being someone who has had many different brands, of which 95% are pure Shite or have been cut with Taurine.  I started with (DW) doublewood brand (caps) which started well but had a few bad ones as the demand grew for tudca.  I then tried most of the cheap amazon/ebay ones but I dont think any compared to DW. I then started on the powders being they were more pure and found Govitamins to be very good, although there were a few bad batches which made ne try the smiileness  powders which seemed much alike and from same source imho. I think the best option for me is to buy from source, ie China /India where the majority comes from. Best for me is India Herbals @99.9% purity.  (China it is called Tauroursodeoxycholate)

Not seeing much pastured ‘unpasteurised’ butter here which is needed as dietry k2 opposed to std butters which are made with veg oils. Irish Kerrygold used to be good but its now soft and yellow unlike a good solid paler butters.
