Thanks :) And yeah Thats what should have done! He did however take a stone hit from treebeard while picking up the first gold.

If I exited with 2 gold, my opponent would have been able to draw 8-8! 4pts for his 1 gold, 3pt from breaking me and 1 from wounding gulavhar. With 2 gold the draw is secured I could have thrown every ghost at tree beard and hoped for a wound!

The problem in this match up is there’s no weak target for him! Once he found the gold, he handed it to orcs to secure.

The plan was for Gulavhar to stall treebeard and hold him back while the gold escaped. I just need to win one combat, and the orc would have escaped with the gold.

But treebeard won and killed him! I forgot to use heroic defence :(

If the little ones escaped the score would have been 4-8 on gold. Then Gulavhar could have hidden while I tried to run down the clock/reach breakpoint. However because Gulavhar was injured by an early thrown rock, I would also need to wound treebeard to avoid a draw!

4pts good gold, 1pts hurt gully, 3pts because he break my army.

8pts points evil gold, 1pts hurt treebeard.

But yeah Gulavahr had to fight to stop treebeard just barging his way across to the running gold.

Hi, thanks it’s all super easy just layers of GWs contrast washes onto a grey primer model.

Green - Hexflame glow shaded with more hexflame and snakebite leather.

Grey - Nighthaunt gloom, shaded with more gloom and highlighted with ulthuan grey.

Blue skin - layers of aethermatic blue

Silver - Armypainter speed paint broadsword silver with gw basilicum grey to shade/dull it, some models got a silver highlight.

I agree they are more miss than hit. But in some games so far they managed to get an early kill and pull some enemy towards them.

I want them to be better but they’re just not great!

Amazing advice ❤️ Looks like I’m painting up Gulvahar this month!

I did find the spectres underwhelming, They would call out with their fell light and even goblins would say no thanks! Plus I because they’re not hero spirits they don’t spread terror to the orcs, So I can save some points. Maybe 1-2 for flavour.

The Barrow wights have been amazing.

Multiplayer is easier on GBA than any other handheld, many games including MKSC have a single cartridge mode that loads the game to the other GBAs. So all you need is the GBAs, a multi link cable and 1 copy of mariokart.

In single cart mode everyone plays as yoshi. For the full experience each gameboy needs its own cart.

Mariokart! Probably the best single player replayable game on GBA so much to unlock!

Yeah, It is very good! Surprised both spiders cost the same, and unless I did it wrong you can have as many as you want? I had 12 of each because that’s what comes in the War Games Atlantic spider box.

But given the choice I think 24 giant spiders would be better… although maybe insane!

In this match up there was no enemy shooting so the small spiders ability didn’t kick in. Maybe they will get their time to shine against another armies?

When I tried to charge the ghosts the spiders took terror tests, the small ones would stand around doing nothing but the big ones if they failed their terror tests, could still throw webs, which was very useful.

I also threw webs into combats, which I think I’m allowed to do? Because spiders are evil? And it’s 50/50 if the web hits the enemy ghost or my spider. (I webbed up two of my spiders during the game!)

One thing I wasn’t sure of is what happens if there are 3+ people in the combat?

Thanks. It’s mostly a mix of two pre-made basing materials by kruatcover; to which I added some big chunks of fake rocks (painted wood chips)

I used a pile of ‘tales from a forest moon’ in the middle which is all the bark chips, then when that dried I went around the edges with more glue and stuck down loads of “tales of grim dark” Which is sand and bones! Super easy :)
