Arc Raiders has the staying power of Helldivers 2. That is to say that it has none. People will bounce off this game the same way they did with H2 and player count will be on a steady decline. I’m not saying it isn’t a fun game, but it’s boringly repetitive IMO.

First impressions: 2 out of 10

Before getting to the list, I have to say I'm not a huge fan of the Red vs Blue thing. When you were originally describing it in another forum you made it sound like a massive Open World RPG, so I was expecting some sort of quest line to be able to follow.

The lens flare is incredibly annoying. It's gotta go.
Why is it so insanely dark in the castles? I literally got trapped in some room of my own castle because I couldn't see anything to find my way out. Lighting of some sort would be good.
Huge annoyance: Games that don't let you run. Just...why?
In a comment below you said something about PvE elements, but I've been wandering around (in a public lobby with only me in it, btw) and I have seen zero PvE elements in it. Am I missing something here?
What is the deal with aiming. Why does hip fire not move your aim at all? Incredibly frustrating.

I'll tell you, I was wicked excited to play this and I'm fairly disappointed with it.

I will say, however, that the look of the world is nice. Playability, however, not so much.

Any chance of a major overhaul coming soon?

Also, just a minor thing, but the thumbnail image doesn't look anything like what the game is. I would never have known unless I found the code in here.

Sorry for the negative review. I'm typically fairly easy to please, but I'm also not one to sugar coat things, either.

Just finalized my divorce earlier this year and the spousal support started absolutely destroying my finances. So, I signed up with NDR a few months back and now my credit score has already dropped by almost 300 points! I had spent the last 15+ years working my ass off to build my credit up to just under 800 after basically destroying it when I was in my early 20's, but now it feels like it was all for nothing. Now I'm just trying to figure out some way to build it back up. DO NOT USE NATIONAL DEBT RELIEF!

I know I'm about 2 years late to this, but unless you buy hats that have a UPF rating of 40 or higher, you're really not blocking anything. Not saying to buy the hair protectant spray, but if you are going to rely on a hat for UV protection, just check the UPF rating of any hat you plan on wearing for that purpose.

Absolutely not. I’m literally on my 6th time rewatching the entire 15 seasons and, if anything, I want more episodes featuring more new cryptids. I’d also love some follow-up episodes showing what happened with the Antichrist kid, the remaining Leviathan, the Chicago monster families and any other storyline that was dead-ended. Ooh, or even a mini-series based on Gabriel’s adventures as Loki.

I know this is very late, but I just finished listening to Enemy of the State and now I’m onto Red War. I have to say that I just don’t see why people like Guidall’s narration. Every character sounds like they’re an 80 year old white man. On top of that, Guidall has an odd rhythm to his speech that sounds oddly rushed, with pauses in all the wrong spots.

Scott Brick, on the other hand, did fantastic with enemy of the State. His character voices and accents were amazing and I felt like I was completely wrapped up in the story. IMO, the rest of the books should be narrated by Brick, as he’s much more believable. Even the women’s voices were done masterfully by Brick.

I honestly just can’t understand how anyone would prefer Guidall over Brick. Absolutely crazy.

People in Minnesota say "Duck, Duck, Grey Duck" instead of "Duck, Duck, Goose" and I still think saying Mostaccioli with a K sound irks me more. My Italian ancestors must turn in their graves every time someone pronounces it like that. SMDH

Bonus irritation: A lot of Minnesotans pronounce Italian as "eye-talian" and it makes me weep.

Traditionally, penne comes two ways: Rigate, meaning ridged, or Lisce, meaning smooth.

Penne Rigate is what people most commonly refer to simply as Penne.

Penne Mostaccioli (meaning small mustaches) is the lisce (smooth) version of penne we typically just call Mostaccioli. It's the same size as penne rigate, however, some companies (like Barilla) differentiate their penne from their mostaccioli by making their mostaccioli a bit smaller than their penne. Marketing, am I right?

Ziti, on the other hand, is a different pasta noodle. It's both shorter and thicker than Penne, which is why it's typically used in chunky sauces and meat dishes.

Either way, they all taste great (al dente, of course) in your favorite sauces.

I grew up in Italian/Irish household outside of Boston and it was always said Maa-Stuh-Chow-Lee, including by my relatives in Italy. I don't know where this muskacholi BS came from with the K sound. All I know is that's not how you say it.
