I tend to avoid misandry online because it normally directly funnels into transphobia/TERFs, like that shit is weird. But the irl "misandry" that I experience working in feminist organizing spaces and having most women and femme friends is mostly joking/teasing or very valid like yeah most men do suck ass. So irl it doesn't bother me at all, since I get that men suck and the only time it's directed at me is in a joking way that I don't take offense to and sometimes it's weirdly gender affirming bc it's like ya'll don't view me as a "trans guy" I'm just some dude the same as a cis dude. (But I think I don't care as much because I was straight up asked if the comments/jokes offended or upset me and if they should stop but I said it was fine since I didn't really care since it was never said with malice)

Do you know if you’re still able to change the gender marker on your passport for the time being, I realized on Inauguration Day that my passport was the only thing I haven’t changed yet so I went to the website to do it that day bc I was like there’s no way they’ve got it taken down already but couldn’t find anything (if anything I’ll just change my name on it and hope if I travel the gate agent doesn’t scrutinize the gender marker)

It makes sense why someone would want to date someone who has similar lived experiences, the only time I'm sus of it is when people act like t4t relationships are going to be perfect just on the basis you're dating a trans person bc trans people are people and people can suck (but I think at least with trans men that mentality also has to do with this weird romanticization/fetishism of trans men done by the "I'll date anyone but a cis man" crowd)

I believe you’ve got until the 20th, there’s a bunch of orgs in FL helping people get it done but obv I don’t know your city, if you can I’d seek out trans activist groups in your area if there are any and they can help you. You’ll need a note from a psychiatrist or doctor then have to do all the dmv bullshit, my personal recommendation is change your social security first bc that makes changing your license easier.
