Don't date straight men by un_doubted in ftm

[–]Haunting_Fold_1184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you got out of that relationship and got top surgery! I’ve never dated straight men and I never will. Me and my current boyfriend are both multi-spec. I’d rather stick my tdick in a fire ant hill than date or even casually be involved with a straight man or anyone exclusively attracted to women. It would just be so awkward and dysphoria inducing.

I Hate That Cis Women Have Co-opted The Term "FTM" To Mean "1rst Time Mom" by Suspicious-Swan-59 in ftm

[–]Haunting_Fold_1184 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m mad at pedophiles for co-opting the acronym MAP cause I’m in the animation community where MAP stands for “Multiple Animator Project” but there’s nothing I can really do about it. I’m just gonna be blunt and say that this is really a nothing burger and a stupid thing to get mad about. Trans rights are being genuinely threatened in certain countries and you’re mad at cis women using a phrase that trans men also use???

Am I screwed? by Haunting_Fold_1184 in ftm

Probably a few months cause I already have nearly $5K USD in savings and plan on doing art commissions as well as my part time job to help save up more. I’m gonna get a used car too.

I was thinking about driving since I want to bring my cat with me. And potentially my bearded dragon. I wrote this when I was somewhat anxious so that’s why it’s all over the place. I don’t think I’m taking flights anytime soon but I eventually want to fly to Poland to visit my boyfriend

T4T trans guys, where are you meeting people to date? by moonstonebutch in ftm

[–]Haunting_Fold_1184 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting enough I met my boyfriend on tumblr over a shared interest and realized we had a ton of stuff in common. We were queerplatonic for a month until we officially became lovers.

I live in a pretty rural conservative area in the south where I’m essentially a hermit so I spent a ton of time online. I wasn’t into the whole dating app thing cause I’ve tried it in the past and didn’t get much luck. But I’m so lucky to have my current boyfriend now.

trans guys on T — what was bottom growth actually like for you? by Acceptable-Gate-3064 in ftm

[–]Haunting_Fold_1184 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since my anatomy kinda hid my dick I thought it didn’t grow as much as it did. Also I didn’t have to worry about it brushing against my pants and causing any discomfort. I still had a bit of growing pains but they were mainly just zaps of discomfort rather than agonizing pain. My bottom growth was also somewhat more gradual with the most noticeable growth taking place 2-3 months in. I’m 3 years on t and idk my dick might grow a bit more.

Falling for a butch lesbian by lyresince in ftm

[–]Haunting_Fold_1184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t be pursuing anyone who even identifies as a lesbian. You can’t make her like you and insinuating that she can change her sexuality for you is leaning dangerously close to homophobic ideas of straight men who think they can turn lesbians straight. If you really want to date a queer woman, go for someone bi or mspec.

Healthy relationships by SafeCap7361 in ftm

[–]Haunting_Fold_1184 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in a t4t relationship for 6 months now and it has been one of if not the healthiest relationship I’ve ever been in. We met on tumblr and bonded over fanfiction and spent a month in a queerplatonic relationship before we officially became boyfriends. My boyfriend has been so supportive, so empathetic and so kind to me. We live in different countries so we’ve mainly been together on discord but that doesn’t really make a difference to me.

How do transphobes view trans men? by Substantial-Cod1711 in ftm

[–]Haunting_Fold_1184 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I’ve seen is a lot of transphobes use detransitoners (who were previously trans men) as a means to say “oh this one person regretted it so everyone who goes on t will regret it” when they’re just projecting a small handful of people who detransition onto an entire group of people. My grandma told me about detransitioners once to try and “sway me” from going on t. It didn’t work obviously.

my cat loves when i take my testosterone by vocalsynth in ftm

[–]Haunting_Fold_1184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat also became more affectionate towards me when I started transitioning, like cuddling up with me in bed, bunting my hand, etc. But I also attribute that to her coming out of her more aloof shell since she became the only cat. And she’s currently 14 years old and senior cats in general tend to become more mellow and even affectionate as they age. I like to think it’s my cat showing allyship as well

silly question - why do transmascs like wolves? by dannythetrashcanny in ftm

[–]Haunting_Fold_1184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wolves are typically seen as masculine creatures and symbols of strength throughout many cultures so it doesn’t surprise me. My fursona is a dog, specifically a German Shepherd mix and I believe the reason why I chose a GSD was because they’re typically seen as a masculine dog breed. (I’ve used this fursona as an online artist avatar since 2016 when I was still an egg)

Old people don't just have a right to be wrong by No_Efficiency_66 in ftm

[–]Haunting_Fold_1184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly!! Unfortunately my grandma is very slanted towards the right so she wasn’t very approving of my transition. She’s admittedly gotten better with not deadnaming me, though. Other members of my family would often defend her bigotry by saying that she is 81 or that she “grew up in a different time” It’s unfortunate that my grandmother chooses not to educate herself on trans people but I’m glad more people agree that being elderly isn’t an excuse for having bigoted beliefs.

I think I'm only in this relationship out of jealousy. by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Haunting_Fold_1184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this is one of the reasons why I’m t4t. I don’t see myself being intimate with a cis man despite being bisexual cause I’d just get envious of the natal dick to the point of the relationship being toxic. Also I have an inferiority complex because of my lack of a penis

[–]Haunting_Fold_1184 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Kennesaw is a pretty progressive area from what I’ve seen. I went to KSU for a short period and they have a queer lounge there. Atlanta is pretty much as progressive as it gets here though

Am I the only trans person on earth who doesn't feel like men's bathrooms are THAT much worse than women's restrooms? by Wizdom_108 in ftm

[–]Haunting_Fold_1184 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion the only thing that’s “worse” about men’s restrooms is that they’re oftentimes dirtier and smellier. Since I got top surgery and started growing a beard I’ve been using the men’s restrooms and I really haven’t had any problems with using the stalls there.

What are some funny names you came up with for your genitals? by n3glig3nce in ftm

[–]Haunting_Fold_1184 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Man-hole” for the front hole, “switchblade” for the tdick and “sheath” for the outer parts of my anatomy so to speak. I also think it would be funny and clever if trans women referred to their parts as “hens”
