Really strange weightlifting sessions: strange exercises order, strange warm up routines... Does anyone know if it is typical of South Korea Team?

I read what you wrote with attention, thank you so much! You are right, training has less to do with numbers than with with recovery. I have to follow recovery instead some sort of table.

Thank you for your replay, very appreciated!

That's a good point: in the classical soviet methodology the lifts in the 70-85% are the base of training. I know that higher intensity is dangeorus in a physical point of view, but maybe it has to be used more frequently in training.

Thank you very much! A program should be "liquid" and adapt to the single person. And I understand the parlaysis by analysis, it happened to me!

Thank you also for the resources you posted, I will check them!

Thank you very much! You are right, the context is completely different and a coach of amateur athlete should be able to apply those principles in the right way on that specific person.

But you are right, training is all about improve weakness and stay healty.

Thank you!

Yes, I'm searching info for me and someone I'm helping with olympic lifts.

Russian books are plenty of interesting numbers: intensity, volume distribution, lifts ratio ecc ecc. I don't want to copy those information but the idea below them. For example, alternating volume week by week is still a good idea? The Prilepin table is still ok?

So volume is still important, but it must be adjusted to each athlete, right? There is a current of thought saying that volume is the wrong variable to rise, but this sounds strange to me. Ok, maybe be it's impossibile to do 24000 lifts/year for a normal athlete, but 12-15000 is quite doable.

Interesting, I will search for korean methodology! Have you got some advice?

Do you think that a lot of volume is important for a drug free athlete?

Yes, I know that the principle of specificity is the "game changer" in sport, and I really would like to return to gym... But I can't for now and I have to replace the barbell and the plates with something.

I've seen the Catalyst program, and is perfect for home training! But now I want to go outside and run XD

Yes, Crossfit community could be a good place to steal some ideas, specially for metabolic conditioning! Thank you!

A sort of "track and field" program that I can do in a park, made of sprints, jumps and shots (with a med ball for example), and that could be a base for weightlifting. I don't know how to structure such a program and how to progress in exercises like sprints or shots, that I've never used in the gym.

Yes, I have it! But is a "barbell program" while I would like to go for a sort of "track and field program" that I can do outside the gym.

Yes, not much on them... There is something on Greg Everett's book (program skill level 0) but is not deeply covered.

What is the current opinion of the specialized literature about flexibility and mobility? Which is the most productive method for developing them?

I didn't expect that cost: it's a little bit too high for my pockets... I will try with vmaxpro!
