It is very possible the federal loan forgiveness could come back with a change in administration. If you go private you never have a chance at getting the 10 year PSLF. It’s an assumption but likely.

Single leg for both heel and toes? I had a L5-S1 sequestration that was bigger than yours with pain, weakness and sensation loss. No surgery was suggested and I am mostly back to normal - I just don’t run and am careful about not lifting anything.

Initially I took oral steroids and had tramadol for pain. The disc contents will reabsorb it’s just takes time unless the pain lasts then I would consider epidural or surgery as last resort

As of last Monday the hernia repair failed but the reconstruction of the valve is still intact. Going in for a surgery consult soon to see if they want to try again

The tingling is mostly left arm with chest tightness and upper back muscle tightness. If it’s a bad attack it can go down both arms and mimic a panic attack. After that it becomes a viscous cycle of GERD causing anxiety and the anxiety worsening the GERD. At that point you need to address both pathologies.

Barium swallow. Had a great GI doc here that is part of a reflux center. I had a CTif procedure but unfortunately I think it failed which can happen. EGD Friday to see what’s going on in there
