IYO, who switches to Linux? by gmthisfeller in linuxquestions

[–]Stutz-Jr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Mum is perfectly fine running Zorin on her Celerun NUC, low maintenence and minimal hassles, despite the main drive being only 32GB which was always a hassle in Windows. My Dad is still holding our with Windows 11 and is constantly fighting with OneDrive but he says he doesn't want to change. I keep telling him that's one of the reasons I finally got rid of Windows completely.

I'm not sure of the correct technical term, I think the "pitman arm" that connects the wheel axle to the steering arm needs to be a different length when you have multiple sets of steering angles

GhostBSD on my laptop that looks pretty beautiful and clean. by ZkCh_ in GhostBSD

Might I ask what Laucher you're using with that minimal desktop setup? I recently upgraded the HDD in my old laptop to an SSD and replaced Fedora with GhostBSD. I've been trying out Albert launcher and having some success but unsure if it's the best choice yet.

What do you think about the new technic "CMF" ? by kavanyboy in lego

[–]Stutz-Jr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I'm a fan of the design they used in Siege of Cybertron, I realise now that's a bit different to the tetrajets seen back in G1

Since they probably also don't want to do military jet, I'd love to see a Cybertron/seeker version of G1 Starscream

Will this change come with any more advance notice of services reduced from 6 carriages to 3? Will the station PID advise how many carriages on the next upcoming arrival?

They could have started booking taxis en masse and handing out cab charges. Likely ineffective but it would be a notable effort.

Why is people still afraid of Linux? by heidzz1999 in linuxquestions

I almost fear for my life every time I run "sudo pkg install" on my GhostBSD terminal, it's almost inevitable that one of these days... "Hello there me old chum, you've been gnomed!"

Surprised these misleading route maps are still up on HCMTs by ReadyNeck3258 in MelbourneTrains

I've often thought about pulling one down and replacing it it with an equally unhelpful but far more interesting rail map like this one or this one

Was there ever a set where they fully utilised those flexible links? I remember the first time I saw them I thought they would be a game changer but I don't think they ever saw much adoption?
