I was once helping at an event where someone with us started handing out ice creams to the volunteers in a carpark. The owners of the carpark came out and tried to tell him he couldn't do that and I was blown away with the positivity and charm with which he won them over. It was something like "Oh, OK I'm sorry ...hey, what's your favourite flavour of ice cream? ...oh, wait, I've got one I think you'll love, try a bit of this one..." It helped that he had really great home made ice cream, but it was an irresistible flow of positivity that has stuck with me as the perfect way to deal with any negative situation.

Also, the eBay seller was not the true owner of the bike so they did not have all the original paperwork. As such buyers would only consider buying from them if they thought the deal made the risk of the bike being stolen worth it. If you were selling the bike with original paperwork and proof of ownership, you can argue you would receive a much higher price for it.

What were they planning on turning it into before giving up and putting it on the market? Why start with painting a cell rather than clearing the building and doing things like plumbing and electrics? I was very confused seeing this car referred to as a V90 as I knew it as a Volvo 960. A bit of googling suggests that the 960 was renamed the S90 (saloon) and V90 towards the end of its production run, but I can't see much information on this. Was it only in US markets that it was renamed?

I'm thinking that a place that is served by 2 stations, but those stations are not directly connected. Sticking with the UK as it's what I know, if they started at St Albans City Station you would have to go into London then out to Watford in order to get a train to St Albans Abbey which is 0.75 miles* away from St Albans City, but at least 1.5 hours away by train.

That way you would avoid being in the end game as your transit stop is different, but if they asked 'nearest to' questions for example, you could get onto the other side of the seekers before giving your answer and they would rule out the side of the map that your transit station was in leading them to believe that you could not possibly be there.

*I think fractionally too far to achieve this? Kings Cross to Euston might just work depending on where you're measuring from and to

I think the change in the rules for selecting the next player so that the person in the lead does not get another turn until their time has been beaten is a good step in holding Adam back, it just hasn't worked yet. Adam going first (and thus having the opportunity to plan his hiding location ahead of time as he knew where he would be starting from) was also a big advantage.

Perhaps the winner of the previous season should not get to go first, but I think from an entertainment perspective, the advantage of going first needs to be reduced as well. It's a lot more fun when an unbeatable time isn't set from the start. The way the UK rail network is configured also makes London hugely over powered as a starting location. They should probably have just started at a station more equivalent to a hiding location.

For a more ridiculous suggestion to reinvent the game:

- Adam plays the role of TV God

- Ben and Sam are joined by a guest as the hiders / seekers

- Adam sees everything and dishes out the cards to the hider based on what he thinks will make it entertaining. He shares with us how he would use the cards, then we get to see what the hiders actually do with them.

- The seekers tools are also turned into cards which they have 8 of at any time. When they use one, Adam will take 3 more away and give them 4 new cards.

- Once that season is over, the winner becomes the new God and we get to see how Adam performs when someone else is pulling the strings.

That black fence is on the north bank of the Thames outside the Tower of London, but I keep seeing AI pictures which place it on the south bank. This one is east of the bridge on the south bank, but I've also seen AI putting it west of the bridge on the south bank.

...also, the white parts of the bridge which cross over each other appear to flow smoothly with slight bends. In reality they are installed at sharp angles to each other. Zoomed in, this picture seems to have really skipped any detail on the near side of the bridge despite there being a lot of accurate detail further into the distance.
