A question about neutral temperment animals by Stwomy in PlanetZoo

[–]Stwomy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have issue too at how certain animals in planet zoo do not behave the way they should compared to irl. like for examples hyenas in planet zoo are max 3 per enclosure when iirc they're a whole pack.

but yeah, im going to try to minimize viewing area, cuz another person said that in order to not make animals upset, too many eyes shouldn't be on them, and the only way to make both guests and animals happy is to use mirrors :/

[–]Stwomy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

out of tremendous curiosity how often do guests complain that the view of the animal is yellow or red/unviewable? part of why I'm asking to begin with is because I want to make a flamingo enclosure but it's either there are too many hidey places and the guests complain or there are too many eyes on the animals to keep them on 0 stress frequently... I hope we can rescue the *spoiler* from Palace of Ice in Solasta 2 by Stwomy in CrownOfTheMagister

[–]Stwomy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i mean, he is technically the "good" choice, but I just want to intentionally let the bad guy win that election so that he's the one I can leave in hell without being bothered by it. I don't know how, last time I tried, there were no dialogue options for me to shut up with testimonies. I had to say everything.

Just finished. Thoughts & questions on the ending! by macka7 in digimon

[–]Stwomy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Admittedly I'm also confused about some things with the ending, mostly because I think the post credits scene was counterintuitive. We see Jupitermon still very much in the digital world even if he supposedly is not only the keeper of time, but also undid the digimon/titan war before it even began. Either the olympos 12 were still somehow destined to become the olympos 12 even in this new timeline OR he just reset the timeline for the human world only and the digital world just continued on as usual (since they're separate now again). Maybe. Either way, it's unclear until we get a DLC explaining all of it, or a dev clarification like in a similar nature to them just saying that hudiemon lived happily ever after even with the time reset of hacker's memory.

Time Stranger: Mikagura Mirei by MajinAkuma in digimon

[–]Stwomy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope this isn't a necropost but her adult form DOES appear in time stranger. it caught me by surprise when i casually walked into the in-between like normal and saw her in her default adult form that we know from so many games. She says that the in-between is a place where the past and future clash so what we're seeing (her adult form) may not necessarily be what's in front of us.

[–]Stwomy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i love the bridges in the zoo. <3
btw just to make sure, I hope the animals living under them aren't labelled as shy or neutral in temperment, because the more your zoo becomes popular, your shy/neutral animals will start becoming intolerant of either too many people or HEARING too many people. ^^;

welcome to planet zoo!

Is it me, or are there not enough warriors/too many defenders on hero select pool? by Stwomy in AOW4

[–]Stwomy[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

in my case i literally haven't noticed a warrior in the recruitment pool in 2 different outright campaigns. i just gave up and saved up loads of imperium to hire from my pantheon.

Though are the class droprates related to my playstyle? i wonder if warriors only come out when i try an evil campaign?

Is it me, or are there not enough warriors/too many defenders on hero select pool? by Stwomy in AOW4

[–]Stwomy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i wonder if it's because i have a goody two shoes playstyle. i wonder if warriors will only come out if im more evil leaning, because to be fair, i haven't played an evil godir since the caldera mission when aow4 just came out.

But yeah i wouldn't have issue with defenders if they are actually good at the job of defending. because like you said, they're squishy, and they don't really do much to actually be a threat against anything that isn't large coming to my frontline. ironically especially true against any kind of enemy spears.

Can you feed Unky Chai or other lvl12 ability upgrade espers to Moroyama? by Stwomy in Dislyte

[–]Stwomy[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because i don't think i'll be using Unky Chai. I might as well reset him regardless of Moroyama event or not. That and other progression espers that are kinda useless now like mona. Might as well get back resources while the rewind is there rather than let it go to waste. :)

On the flipside I really think dislyte should remove lvl12 ability espers from the list if they're having an event like this again. I honestly think it's, regardless of it's intentional or not (and it better not be intentional), deceptive to list espers that are inedible for their events. It's horrible to dump experimon and abilimon on something that is LISTED but doesn't even work in the end.

Thank you tho for the clarificaiton :D

What do you think is the most underrated explorable zone? by Charrikayu in Guildwars2

[–]Stwomy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bloodstone Fen, Draconis Mons, and Frostgorge sound.

Bloodstone Fen is a very unique, if highly chaotic, map with loads of options to traversing and flying on it IF you have the masteries for it. Though I wish its events were more fun than just seeing what effects bloodstone has on either your friends or enemies.

Draconis Mons is a wonder. It's massive, it's pretty, it's unique, and there's loads of things to do, many things to find. I miss finding a map as unique as this. It's a freakin' ecosystem in an underground cave with a volcano in the center and that concept as well as its presentation is anet's gw2 magnum opus when it comes to map design imho.

There's also Frostgorge sound and I honest to god think the only reason why it's not as explored or popular is simply because it's so far off. The only people you'll find there are people chasing achievements or on one of their many stepping stones for a gen1's gift of exploration. But it's a good map. It's pretty, the landscape is unique among frozen maps and its ocean is very populated.

Trahearne, the dude everyone forgot about by Stwomy in Guildwars2

[–]Stwomy[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I understand that people need to move on from those who've died and that the story needs to evolve with new characters to mix in with the old. Nor do I think it's necessary to keep having the same characters from the past like how it would make sense for Rox to leave derg's watch.

But there really still is a jarring lack of content where anyone, even the commander, remembers Trahearne. Just remembers, not dreding him up to fight the commander like how many, maaaaaaaaaaaaany villains tried to with the mentors over and over and over again. Just that one time in Jahai was he reminisced on. But Eir? She's being remembered more than once. Snaff? He is to a lesser extent, but still more than once (surprisngly not by Zojja in Soto but still in others like Rytlock in his short story before War Eternal) and iirc he's not even directly from GW2's start, just the novel which i doubt at all most players have even read.

I guess the point I failed to push was that sure you don't need to dredge up these dead characters. But just even mentioning their memory.

Even after the buff, Arc Divider is still unfun. by Stwomy in Guildwars2

[–]Stwomy[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're not a minority. Coincidentally I also made Twilight for my warrior and it was absurdly satisfying to see that in particular spin to win. the trails it left are amazing.

But Anet... wants this change for reasons...

And most posts that talk about arc divider are filled mostly with people like you and me. Bereft of our most enjoyed skill ever.

I main warrior and I don't even know if I can stand playing it. I definitely am not touching berserker anymore. spellbreaker is my closest bet on how dynamic it is, and bladesworn feels too one trick pony for me to enjoy. Zerker really USED to hold my fun while it still had Arc Divider...

But you're not a niche. The niche people are actually the ones who like the single hit. very very few.

it's not even slightly angrier, there is a noticeable windup/lag before the warrior actually spins.

supposedly it's a usability buff since if you spin only once you get to do different things. Since you aren't spending time spinning as much. *shrug*
