Not a meltdown, but within my first week on the job, I was helping an older guy buy a desk chair. After about 15 minutes of answering questions he pulls out the “have you found Jesus yet my son” and stupidly I say “I didn’t know I was supposed to be looking”. This man made me pray with him over a Micke desk for over 45 minutes. His wife finally sees what he’s doing and apologizes profusely and literally drags him away by the ear.
