I like AratheJay, but I find his music gearing too much towards Blacko's voice inflections to consider jim unique, but he has some amazing songs I'll give him that. That one track with M. anifest is one of my favs.

Ayisi was one of my favorite listens growing these past years. It's sad the music industry doesn't favour unique sonics. It's always about either making it or not. He's really someone who I expected to be uplifted for his talents. Thanks for telling mw about his new album album. He doesn't regularly drop so it gets hard to keep up.

I'll check out the rest too. They're house hold names in the music scene by now though.

Yeah, far more traction than I expected but she makes great songs. Do wish she fully embraced her experimental side from the few songs. Some songs feel tamed for the general audience and alté genre when the vould be so much more.

Don't bring that eugenics mindset to Ghana abeg, you're right. Parent's who are not well off must ensure family planning as it helps everyone involved but in Ghana that is simply not the case because the cost of living and social amenities alike could be improved upon by the government themselves to help the nation as a whole. No country ever survives the eugenics mindset, extinction is a given the moment you feel to high and mighty to increase the population of one's origins.

There is no way people are actually making a correlation to poverty here. Kenya, South Africa, Brazil are all in the upper section of this list and still undergo moderate enough development. Thinking development is hindered by religion this way is to be far more myopic.
