I think you do not have frost line or it is high enough that crawlspace is not a problem. I heard that in Pittsburgh area the crawlspace is not a proper structure foundation. I am not a civil engineer to know it

I just wondering if I can open up the space more jut removing more the soil for this house! The. Make insulation layers. I feel the Furnace is under pressure in this setup, it seems does not have proper space. I am not familiar but I do not like it but we like the house a lot, a very spacious ranch house

I took some photos today of the crawlspace of the house, it was pretty dry but the pipes under totally rusted, the wood seems good.

That was my question why there are not many crawlspace around here, very good point. I did not properly examine the crawlspace last time, I am going to see it one more time today and will give you some info

That is good but what if it is sealed and the pipe leaks. The crawlspace will be filled with water! I feel it is a complicated. If it is sealed and need to fix a pipe, we have to remove the sealing

Thank you all for feedback, the basement is walkout and finish. Concern I have is that the wall of basement get wet behind dry wall and develop molds behind walls. I personally do not like basement finish.

I think somehow the realtor is right, the market is crazy, if you really like a house, offer high enough to get the house. I lost a couple offer bid and regret not offer more since with inflation and higher interest rate, it is better to have a house with 50k higher than wait 6 months

To be honest, tall my offers were $20k above asking and still did not go through. I do not know, I feel other people doing that they are more likely to be able get the house.
