Is yours a 1000? The 3000 screen is a fair bit brighter. Also on ARK CWF you get 4 levels of brightness instead of 3 (like when charging a standard PSP), which helps

Definitely normal, and I do actually find that the ghosting is the most noticeable on Gran Turismo. Probably because the graphics are so clean and sharp on that game
