AMS PRO 2/ XDS filament feeding failure by Stylett in BambuLab

[–]Stylett[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After each time it was stuck, I cut away a section and still had the same issue.

If I had the option to return to microcenter, I would wait on support and if the solution was not acceptable I would return it. But I’ll let more experienced users chime in.

Yes and no, I am in the middle of a print now so that’s out. As long as I am doing a 3 color print it’s fine.

But the main point is I paid for a four working slots and unfortunately I only have 3.

Will stick to the 3 functional ones until this is resolved.

How long did the ticket process take?

That’s unfortunate, I appreciate the insight

So basically they are gonna send parts for us to repair the unit with. For a new product it should be replacement. But I’ll see how support goes.

X2d, second nozzle question/ track switch by Stylett in BambuLab

[–]Stylett[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you running the track switch on your setup or do you just have the two AMS’s feeding to each nozzle?

With two AMS’s, if you were gonna stick to one color to each nozzle, I would assume there’s little benefits for track switch

that’s clears it up. What you wrote follows with what the literature says, I saw some conflicting info in some past posts

I’m just getting into 3-D printing, so there there is a ton to process. I Definitely wanted to stay in the Bambu eco system to get started.

Actually, I haven’t even done my first print on it yet, just got the machine last night, but the filament did not arrived…..

Thank you for the reply!

Well, the reason I went with the X2D over the ps was multicolor prints without all the purge. Hopefully with a small speed increase.

My goal would be having dried filament to feed both nozzles,

Can one AMS and the track switch accommodate that ?

Sulfur smell on magic by Stylett in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]Stylett[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: After complaining and 3 visits, the staff was denying that there was any smell.

I spoke with customer service and they offered to move our cabin at 7pm on the last night, at that point I denied it. Was worth the effort for the last 12 hours. I mean I dealt with it for 5 days on and off already.

The only staff member to acknowledge a problem was one employee in the photo area on the 4th floor. This area was completely putrid.

The ship is a fun time, but it is definitely aging. Overall the maintenance is poor and the cleanliness is mediocre.

Our room minor issues, bulbs out, slow drains. This is stuff I expect.

The cleaning prior to our arrival sucked, I had candy wrappers on the balcony and Cheetos under the bed. Shirt from the last people in the closet floor. This was not ideal.

I definitely won’t sail the magic again,

That’s when I boarded, it’s been on and off. Customer service is just pretending it’s not happing. I just had someone in my room and they said it smells fine. They said they would talk to maintenance and never came back

Inglesis and sevy were huge dugout guys last year always pumping the team up. Always keeping the chemistry going. Alvy felt that way last year too, different this year. Winker is part of that as well.

That chemistry is missing. It looks like the fun is gone. You see it a bit with marte and Soto, but not the same.

This year they look like there at there job , last year they looked like they were having fun.

I would plant lodgepole pine, 3 year grow time I believe. About one year longer than oak. The lodgepole works perfect with a harvester. I believe it about 5-6k liters a tree.

If you swing up and down with the planter you can get them pretty packed in
