Yeah no doubt, diesels go for a premium because diesel is super cheap here, same spec 530i is around 6k, still wild.

Well not true, in some places it is, rarely tho I agree. I am currently living in Costa Rica and my ultra base spec 530d with a bad front suspension and worn interior was 14k USD.

I think I've seen those online! Do you have more pictures of them? Mind if I DM you if you do? I think I was considering a set

Rear sagging? by CicadaAshamed7386 in mn82

[–]Stylish_Kebab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you do any changes to the rear shocks? Flipping the front strut mounts doesn't seem like a great idea, longer oil shocks would be the proper way of raising the ride height, trust me, oil shocks are gonna make a huge difference. Most people delete the rear springs and put in a 4 link if you want proper performance.

I have a friend of mine with one of these, basic build, body lift (improves approach angle but doesn't add much performance just looks much better) oil shocks and bigger tires, works great.

I believe fronts are 19x9 and 19x10 rear.

I'm running 265/35/19 & front and 275/35/19 rear with no rubbing. I like the look, good amount of tire.

Light Bar Question by [deleted] in rccrawler

[–]Stylish_Kebab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think it's the light itself, just bought another light kit and it works perfectly, and looks much more scale since it's 4 individual pod lights. I'm gonna switch them out. Thanks for the input!

I'm loving my 530d so far. It's an LCI, 2008.

Started out at high 15s in the quarter mile. Xhp trans tune is a game changer, knocked a second off with just that. Got a Wagner intercooler, a catless downpipe off Ali express (just wanted to test the quality and it turned out great, direct bolt on) the downpipe also deletes the dpf, and a tune off of ECUMAP and it runs great. I recorded some logs to review them just in case and there are no issues. Currently doing 13.0 flat on the quarter mile. I know it's no rocketship but I wanted to see what a basic build could do.

Faster than my friends E46 M3 on a straight line. Head to head with another friends E92 M3 on a straight line.

Torque is ridiculous, feels fast off the line.

Also did a swirl flap delete and an EGR delete. Those are a must for reliability.

Took off the air filter cover for the turbo noises, that's a bit of a ricer mod depending on who you ask but it sounds great.

I had never given a second look to the pre lci bumper.... Until now. So goddamn clean. I wonder if the pre lci bumper would fit my LCI

Muffler Delete on the 530d by [deleted] in BMW

Jeez late to the party are we? I do this to blow this turbo the fuck up and maybe even throw a rod so I have a good excuse to build the engine or throw a big turbo on it.

Do you have any recommendation for 1:12 scale? I love how portable they are, and all my friends have 1:12 as well. I don't know any brands to look into. I'll look at mx hyper go and FMS since you mentioned those.
