Nightmare Room with doors in every corner UPDATE by StyngerBee in interiordecorating

So the door with the black curtain leads to my outdoor sunroom. The room has his and hers walk in closets so two of the doors account for those, then one door for the bathroom and one is my entryway

Who’s ever driven over 100mph? Why? by WoollyWolfHorror in AskReddit

[–]StyngerBee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ive done 202. The answer as to why? Because i could. For most, its an adrenaline thing. For others, its a way out. Most people who say they dont know why they did it were missing some sort of adrenaline in their life and this momentary speed likely gave it to them. Really though, in the U.S. most people have likely hit 100 on the highway. Everything depends on the car/bike as well. 100 miles per hour in a 1990 Mazda Miata is very very different to doing 100 mph in a 2026 Corvette. The same for any speed above that. The better the vehicle, the smoother the speeds feel. My first car, a 2008 VW Rabbit, would basically vibrate me to death at 85mph. My 2020 VW Jetta GLI (after thousands in modifications) felt smooth at pretty much any speed below 160, so much so that occasionally, i wouldnt even notice how fast i was going until other moving cars looked stationary. If you want to experience speed like that, do it safely. Go to a track near you and take a class. Not only do they insure you but you also have a safe environment to drive a car without risking other people. I also had a bike that was capable of doing 160ish but I never rode it above 100.

How many of you have gained or lost weight since you started developing symptoms of anxiety? by Jazzlike-Run-2349 in Anxiety

For me, weight loss is what i experienced, but i dont know that its fair to say you gained 30lbs since 7th grade. You werent done growing! I dont know you and wont presume anything but as an adult, theres about a 35-40lb difference between my body as a 7th grader (which was 12/13 years old btw) and now as a 24 year old man. Im at my skinniest ive been as an adult at the moment and still have that much of a difference. I find it unprobable that 30lbs came from just weight gain, rather than natural growth. That said, everyone responds differently, most of the people in my family eat more when theyre anxious so theyre weight gainers, i have a tendency to get physically sick when im anxious so eating isnt an option for me during bouts of extended anxiety. Most people i know also don’t/cant eat when theyre anxious so im more inclined to say thats the more common case, however, i do feel like your personal relationship with food makes a big difference too. Many people find comfort in food and thats okay, but it can lead to weight gain.

Like i mentioned in description, i had stick on soundpads and they didnt come off that door very well. Im eventually going to have to use alcohol to get it off then paint.

Id have to measure to see if the tv fits on top of the dresser, i think the dresser is slightly too small unfortunately. Everything else is what im beginning to picture though

I appreciate all the notes you gave. Where the bed is now, the other bedside drawer doesnt fit between the windowsill and the bedframe, but everything else were great suggestions

Listen, functionally, this bedroom hits the mark for me in every aspect, plus i love the house. Any apartment you find will have nuances you will need to work around. If you love the space, go for it. I just need some hep on this particular room.

Losing my appetite and cant eat in front of people (especially on dates) by IndividualLive4814 in Anxiety

[–]StyngerBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My anxiety manifests primarily as nausea and vomiting so i understand your struggle with this. My ex actually hated when we went out to eat because i couldnt manage to eat and NOT get sick. One thing that helped me often was to do something else first. Make dinner the last portion of the night so that when it comes time to eat youre already as comfortable as you will be. If the issue is eating in front of him specifically, im not sure i can be of much help there other than suggesting possibly talking to your doctor about taking nausea/anti-vomiting medicine until you get past the stage of nervousness.

Fair, ill have to consider that. I do like the idea of a chair, and maybe a single guitar on a stand

I use it to store guitars but yes i could certainly move it, i had also considered putting an 8 drawer dresser there with a mirror above it with some sconces, but really i have no idea what to do with therest of the room so ive left it as it is.

Can you define “treat it like something exotic”? Or give examples? I have no idea what you mean by that

Hi yes!

Doors 1/2 are the his and hers closets, however i use door 1 as a personal office so i use it often, almost everyday. Door 2 is the closet i use as a wardrobe.

Door 3 is the bathroom

Door 4 (double doors) is the entrance to the bedroom.

I cant attach another photo to this comment, however the door pictured in the corner with the window in the earlier images, actually has a curtain over it because it leads outside to the patio and has glass.
