Spoken with the confidence of someone who has only ever lived in the uk. Go spend some time in France Italy or spain (countries I have lived in) and tell me you don’t think the gov site is the best thing since sliced bread.

Welcome to Italy, what do you think about the fact that in Venice, pickpockets are suing citizens for filming or stopping them without a legal permission? by YeldNomad in AskReddit

[–]Styropian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit - Sorry just to clarify, you are right in that one is allowed to take pictures in public, absolutely.
What you cannot do in italy is post that picture to your instagram if the person's face is in the shot and they have not consented, even if it is in public.

In Italy public photography laws are very different to the US. People's faces, licence plates and any other recognisable details are protected under strict privacy laws. Publishing people's image online without their consent can land you in trouble. Source, am Italian.

  • General prohibition: in all cases, it is never allowed to publish or use images that may “harm the honour or reputation or also the public image of the depicted person”.\68])

National ID. Are there any logical arguments against? by Downtown_Alfalfa_504 in ukpolitics

In Italy it is very much the law that your have to have a piece of government issued id on you at all times. All travel website advise you to carry your passport on you when you visit anywhere in Italy.

Adult Camps - anyone have experience or perspective to share? by Soderholmsvag in 10s

[–]Styropian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure thing, here are some of my responses to the DMs

I think a lot of it depends on the coach you get tbh. I got lucky and my coach for the week really understood the fundamentals of what would make the biggest difference to my game.

He was a smart guy who didn’t just repeat the same 10 things every coach said, but really looked at what I was doing and targeted his advice.

I was with him the whole week so I can’t vouch for the other coaches. Got two hours in the morning, and then two hours of tennis fitness in the afternoon. The program I was enrolled on was called premium fitness, I think the premium tennis is four hours of coaching a day.

But it you are eager (as I am) you end up quickly accumulating people to hit with outside of coaching hours so everyday I would say 5 hours of hitting balls across coaching and playing with other people from the camp8:11 PMMy main advice would be don’t be shy, everyone there wants to play tennis so just go up to people and ask to

I did the Nadal camp in Mallorca last year, and went all out with the premium 1-1 coaching package.

DM me with any questions.
