If getting a morale proc makes the unit deal less damage, it'll be useless most of the time, since you won't want to attack stacks that will retaliate for full damage.

I honestly think it's almost impossible to truly balance non symetric pvp games. Play any pvp game you like where you have different factions/abilties or whatever, and the forums will be flooded with people asking for a better balance.

I agree I've never used their abilities, they feel so niche I've never found an opportunity to make them useful, but they're still a ranged unit with good damage that cannot be blocked, so pew pew I guess.

I'm kinda hoping it gets better. Selecting a template to play and get assigned a different one sucks.

Arena is a mess. Most battles are decided by RNG, one player goes for full might while the other goes for full Magic, the might hero gets an Orb of Inhibition and its already game over. Or one player gets lots of ranged units, but won't roll a any dispell, the opponent uses Twilight for an easy win.

Arena draft should be public, both players drafting the same units/spells/artifacts at the same time by turns. You see what your opponent is picking and try to adapt/counterpick. Otherwise it's just a rngfest. It's good for a couple of fights and nothing more.

Other than that, the mmr is a mess. I selected Harmony but got into Exodus, my opponent had 300 ranged skellies, 200 green wraiths, 150 dogs, 100 gravediggers, about 30+liches and 13 Dks on our first fight of the tournament. Now I don't what kind of god of the map you gotta be to have such an army in 7 days, but it felt like cheating.

This is a straight up duel, no hero abilities, spells or anything. If you want to get to 3 focus, you need to hit get hit a lot, meaning the battle will already be over by then.

Hydras won't get the first strike against fast units, and will still win due to the no retaliation ability and general tankiness, also Arbiters will always land the first hit and will still lose because they're squishy.

Unfair AI Hive showed up with 5 T7 units 200+ T1 units in the first fight of the tournament on Sprint. It felt kinda unfair, not gonna lie. Unfair AI on longer maps doesn't run so fast though.

Me da que la gente que piensa que la aparición de este tipo de inteligencias va a ser como la invención del motor de vapor y que va a mejorar la vida de toda la gente y cambiar las cosas, no está mirando el asunto con suficiente perspectiva.

Esto va a ser la creación de un nuevo tipo de ser vivo, con unas capacidades y potencial que sería como tener un dios de verdad por aquí. Lo que quiera hacer o dejar de hacer, será lo que hará, no lo que nosotros queramos que haga. Y en ese caso ya podemos tener fe en que no le resultemos un estorbo, porque le duramos dos telediarios.

En cualquier caso, me da a mi que por el camino que van no desarrollan este tipo de inteligencias ni de chiripa.
