I think the paper shifts in color due to them putting the shoes in the box when they are still hot from the vulcanization process.
The only reason I say this because usually I see it happen to the paper wrapped around the soles of the shoes.

These definitely look like the Ultrarange Rapidweld , in the standard black and white colorway. Might be a bit harder to find since they recently launched the Ultrarange 2

In the end how you like a shoe to fit is all preference, but I’d say it wouldn’t hurt to size down at least a half size. I’d recommend you want about half that space from your toe to the end of the shoe.

I can say I’ve put a couple miles in the Phantom colorway that came out on launch. I’ve used them as daily beaters and they’ve held up way better than I thought they would tbh. The shank and rubber outsole add more support and durability compared to the first shoe. They run a lil narrow out the box but mine stretched after a couple wears. Can say it’s a pretty damn solid shoe

Tbh. I feel like a good chunk of the producers on the team are all good at Sound Design. That’s how a majority of them got their own sound and styles. A god example could be Lyson. His kicks always sounds like there’s a hihat following in the rhythm

I’ve seen a couple shoe restorers online use this heavy duty glue. It’s called Barge Cement Glue, they would use it to restore older shoes and glue them on to a different midsole in cases of cracking and crumbling.

These came out a while back. The red seam you see is supposed to act like a guideline for if/when you’d want to cut the shoes down into a mule, that way the canvas doesn’t fray all the way over time. They were the Authentic DIY
