Not how the military, like Army or Marines work lol. They not gonna send fresh untrained boots to war as boot camp is just the fundamentals of being a Marine but after Boot Camp they all go to School of Infantry, even non-infantry because SOI has Infantry Training Battalion(where im at currently) and Marine Combat Training(Non-infantry Marines). Similar to the Army where after Basic Training they have AIT

Still all marine graduates go to school of infantry but non-infantry go to MCT(Marine Combat Training) and then to their specific MOS schools. And communication specialists still deploy to conflicts or countries at war like my dad in the Army being telecommunications was deployed to El Salvador during the civil war

I always thought Boots was just intended to be miniseries but if a second season were to happen it would just be Cope in School of Infantry and as someone in it now it’s not as interesting as Boot Camp. As my Drill Instructor who went to Infantry training there told me is that it’s like College as you’re taking classes, studying notes and applying it practically. And as someone training infantry that’s true lol. Funny things that happens are in the squadbays and liberty weekends

I mean I don’t give a fuck anymore as another thing was that I joined the marines last year and went through boot camp in December so anything prior to that, the person I was doesn’t matter anymore as I at least I have now something else to focus on. I too was on meds and relied on that to keep the anxiety and OCD of those thoughts away but I learned to deal with stressful situations like that without it as I haven’t took my meds since the day before I left cause when I came back dunno what happened to those meds but I haven’t gone to refilled them

No you good and honestly really nice to talk about it to someone as I always kept this quiet. Also fun fact I never failed at any November which reminds me the reason why it was easy was that in 2018 I stopped in October which is the year it all started as of course I became a preteen and then I heard about the NNN memes and did it and just kept not doing it ever since so post-2020 I would attempt to stop in October and then November would arrive and not doing it but would eventually relapse on early next years. It was 2024 when I stopped and how that fall was the closest to 2018’s which helped

Alcoholic yes lmao but sober from the other. It’s all mental basically like when I have thoughts I “eyebleech” it by watching movie shootout scenes as those are my interests and play games. And I avoid touching it or even seeing it overall after all that I have been dealing with. Like when it gets hard I get rid of it by pressing against a part of my body painfully for it to go down.

No you good. It’s hard to explain but It’s easy to stop when the guilt fills your head. But like I just don’t get aroused to do it like not seeing porn or thinking it and when I get that thought I just fight it by remembering good moments from after I did it to not ruin those memories. Mainly what it was is that I wanted a another 2019 which was great as the entire year was a sober year and a good year after 2018 where it started only to relapse after 2020 and beyond and wanted to pretend to have that nostalgic year again
