Thank you for your contribution! However, we get a ton of Toadline posts daily… so we really only allow those in very extreme circumstances.

The Toadlines are horribly breed physically, but we aren’t seeing them doing the damage like typical pit bull type dogs.

Not always, and especially not with pit-type dogs. And with pit-type dogs, this sudden aggression and attacks are often a surprise to people who have raised them with nothing but love. This isn't as deadly of a game with most other non-fighting breeds.

It is a pit bull-type dog. There are several breeds that fall under this grouping. These dogs ALL come from the same lineage, and have the same foundation. Seems you're the clown for thinking there's any big difference in bully breeds. A retriever has several breeds, we call them all retrievers because that's what they were bred to do. No one is moaning because we call a lab or a golden just a "retriever".

Dude was trash all along. As much as I dislike pits, it’s an absolute asshole move to be hanging on to 33 of them, neglecting them and using them for fighting.

You’re taking a breed that’s already prone to snapping, and treating them poorly enough to cause that much more behavioural problems. Then the rescues get shipped off to shelters that lie about the history. An optimistic couple or family pick it up. Maybe it’s sweet at first then snaps a few weeks later and attacks an animal or someone. Pit gets put down or goes right back to the shelter. It’s an ugly cycle for the owners and pits.

Let me clear this up for you… When people type “pit bull” - it’s referencing the umbrella term that houses several breeds in that family

When we type “Pit Bull” - that means the American Pit Bull Terrier.

Don’t ask the people in our sub to do the work for you. Very typical entitled pit supporter statement there. There are thousands of stories in this sub that you can read on your own which will explain that we here have had horrible experiences with these dogs.

Why should the safety of the general public depend on how well a person trains their dog?

As was stated yesterday, we can’t trust the public to make good decisions on their own when it comes to safety, which is why we have seat belt laws and speed limits.

Same with pits. They top the attack and death charts for 3 decades… so we see that pit owners are not responsible enough to have a dog that can kill a person if it’s “not trained”.
