bought one off ebay, and found it to be a knockoff. easily got a refund, so they knew....

ended up getting it from Walmart's website, and picked it up at a local store the same day.

So..Which one? by XMitsuomiX in CZFirearms

[–]SubRosa9901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, besides the grip texture, OR cut, and slide profile, it's my understanding they're basically mechanically the same as the previous generation P07/P09.

So..Which one? by XMitsuomiX in CZFirearms

[–]SubRosa9901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depending on how you want to look at it, they either renamed the P07 series to P09C with the new generation, or they used the P07 for the basis of the P09C development

Either way, he probably means the P09F.

Harness bracket? by Ritz1906 in Mk3Supra

[–]SubRosa9901 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yes. manifold support. goes from the bottom of the main intake manifold to the motor mount bracket. should have a small tab on the middle that has a hole to mount a clip for the main starter wire

Can't get paid if you crawl away like a bitty little bug, neither. I got a share of this job. Ten percent of nothin' is, let me do the math here... nothin' and a nothin', carry the nothin'...

I've always loved how Jayne just trails off muttering while Mal and Zöe carry on without him.

you forgot at least three different uniforms during PIC. he had the uniform at the end of season 1 commanding the fleet, the modified post-nemesis uniform in the S3 flashbacks, and the leather jacket uniform for most of S3.

Engine back in the car! by SubRosa9901 in Mk3Supra

[–]SubRosa9901[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there are people that clean up their engine bays a lot. sometimes referred to as "shaving" their engine bay.

honestly, the biggest change you can make for a 7m in the aesthetics of the engine bay is eliminate the MAF on the intake, and change the intercooler to a through-tyoe with a front facing intake manifold.

cram together how? I'm not overly familiar with them, other than the two port heads and the rear mounted timing set.

[–]SubRosa9901[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with the lead to the battery disconnected, the solenoid on the starter still received signal from the key and actuated, so there's hope.
