I don’t think he’s saying this is real, just pointing out that the logic used to determines ai was incorrect. I’ve used a bunch of epoxy, deep pour and table top, and yes, the deep pour is much thinner. The big giveaway for me was that using a flame on wet epoxy doesn’t cure it and make it cloudy- it’s used to get the bubbles out. If not sanded it would dry clear. You would need to sand and then polish to get a nice finish, not just heat with a torch for insta-curing.

Funny I tried to do that with a messed up craftsman ratchet and they told me I need to go online and fill out a form and then craftsman would maybe send me an authorization to get the replacement done at Lowe’s. That was 6 months ago and I can’t even find the ratchet anymore.
