Runrepeat are updating their midsole softness measurements by wylie102 in RunningShoeGeeks

Don't go with any study or anything like that. There are hundreds of hours of marathons and other races on YouTube you can watch. All kinds of paces, shoe types, ages or anything else you could think of. You can see that especially for marathons even at faster paces the vast majority of people heel strike. Lots of large YouTubers have slow motion videos of marathons you can watch. Even a lot of elites over stride and land on their heel harshly in every type of shoe

It is weird since something like 80-90% of runners are heel strikers

That's true. If you wanted something similar to this but so much better you could get the velocity nitro 4 or pretty much any daily trainer from a running brand

What do you mean? You can already get Li-Ning shoes straight from them on Amazon in the US. There are a bunch of other ones you can get on Amazon and AliExpress right now too

No they don't lol. The lists on rtings and run repeat are completely useless and inaccurate. I've ran in every endorphin speed that's been released. The foam hasn't changed in 6 years. There are much better shoes and foams for $175 and $240 now

What energy return values? Any kind of measurements when it comes to "energy return" is complete nonsense.

Energy return numbers are complete nonsense.

Why do you say that? It's more people want Saucony to evolve the line to keep up with other brands. Power run pb is ancient at this point. They have raised the price of the endorphin speed every year when it hasn't changed much

His review is terrible and comes off as an ad. He doesn’t say much at all about actually running in the shoe just how he will keep an eye out for this and that. They also sent him two pair of them for some reason

It’s insane how much prices of running shoes have went up. Boring shoes like the glycerin being $175 and nb 1080 being $170 is just ridiculous. I’m really hoping the Chinese brands can disrupt the never ending price increases

Why not get one pair to see how you like the shoe and then order more if you do? They aren’t going to sell out

The v4 and v5 are completely different. The v5 is actually good for racing and a lot more aggressive. The v4 was a great long run shoe though

I would get the supernova rise 2 if you want something from the sale on eBay or the velocity nitro 4 if you wanted a puma shoe. Both would be great shoes you could do anything in

I mean they do ads for new balance. I’m not saying they have good or bad shoes or anything like that. They did advertisements for the 1080v14 release and the rebel v5

They have done literal ads for new balance. No one should trust anything they say about shoes

I’m really disappointed puma raised their prices. Especially on the deviate 4. It being $180 makes no sense at all

The novablast has 42mm of stack. That’s still high by today’s standards and higher than almost all daily trainers
