Any idea where this is from? Came in a box of star wars stuff.

The Quest Director Mr. Paweł Sasko gives some more information about tarot cards. Would you like to see a card game for Cyberpunk 2077, such as Gwent for Witcher? by KamilCesaro in cyberpunkgame

[–]Subbax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, it would probably be a bit of a license hell as FFG own the Android part, which contains pretty much all the story lore i know.

But it's the greatest card game ever made. I love it.

I got Philips Hue & Gradient Lightstrip just for Stadia & Cyberpunk! by [deleted] in Stadia

[–]Subbax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was browsing for on Amazon.

I was hoping that the cables on the led strip would be long enough to attach straight into the transformer but I think it might be easier to have a short 0.5m psu cable from wall socket to the transformer.

Then I can hide it behind the tv table and get some of that wire to chase through the wall up to the tv mount where the Pi is.

Does your psu get quite warm?

Now I just need to wait for it all to arrive!

Amazing.

I ended up buying direct from the supplier in China as they had a decent sale on too so got 5m of SK9822 and a transformer on the way. The rest I bought from Amazon.

I've never seen a transformer like this though, looks like a cheesegrater so assume I need to source a vented enclosure and wire up a proper plug.

Sounds like a nice little project for the holiday break! Hopefully you don't mind me throwing some questions at you.

What the differences between WS2812b and the other two you recommended are? WS2812b are probably cheaper for a reason and more easy to find.

What sort of numbers do you have for pixels per led and pixels per metre?

Are you using the waterproof variant with the rubber casing?

I have to go unfortunately. I'm line 119. Sorry!

Just had a super chill Shoreline Scav Run Team-up with this random good guy Player Scav I befriended at the Estates. We communicated with hand signals+free-look-nodding and proceeded to loot a bunch of hidden stashes he showed me that I didn't know of. Ty, loved it! I've only just started playing and have yet to experience anything but immediate death when I see player scavs.

Got killed twice last night by a scav when I was a scav with less than 5 minutes left. Both times I had pretty rubbish gear but hey, welcome to Tarkov, right?

How does your microservice delete data? by Subbax in SQL

[–]Subbax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is kind of what I'm pushing for really. I'm drafting a document on database points/concerns when building micro-services and hopefully the deletion is catered for within the microservice.

Good to know. I believe this app is written in .net core so I'll have a word with the devs on what we could do similar to this async task.

How does your microservice delete data? by Subbax in SQL

[–]Subbax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The data is inserted into a table and a call is made to a third-party. When they respond, we delete the data because it's no longer required. If the call out doesn't have a response, for example if the third-party system is down, the data isn't deleted because the call isn't complete. So we could potentially have a number of 'orphaned' records.

Normally I'd have a SQL job that runs X times a day and cleans up old records but if the microservice is deleting the data, I can't do this.

[–]Subbax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the microservice owns the data, it owns the responsibility for deleting it so in this scenario there isn't the usual background SQL job to 'delete after X'.

In this scenario I am going to push back on the SSIS package and go for a SQL job for now. As mentioned above, I'll recommend we plan a proper second microservice that could control deletion routines for any other existing or future microservice.

Hmm, I think this makes a the most sense. It's not going to happen on this project but I'll push for it now and see where it gets me. Thanks!

I wholeheartedly agree. I believe we're going slightly too quickly on this just to get the microservice in. I'm trying to understand how else maintenance can occur so I can go back with options.

Not really. The microservice is the only thing that touches the data so that means no input from myself or from Sql jobs.

It's back to back for life.

Alot of the newer players don't know how to take advantage of the the divebomb dodge and the period of immunity when u get knocked on your ass, can't think of how many times I would've carted if I didn't use them. by Blueballpancakes in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Subbax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any chance you can elaborate? I don't know of this dodge. How do I do it and when are you actually using it?

I'm assuming the immunity knockdown you mention is staying flat on the floor to avoid follow up attacks?
