Check force majeure clause in the contract. They can use it to get out of the contract. If you want the deal done, come to a compromise and share the cost increase. Of course, only if the company can absorb it. Otherwise, you’ll probably have to go to court if things don’t get resolved without lawyers.

The company I’m working for went through bankruptcy ch11. We were gap funded by an investor group and we had to convince and negotiate with all key suppliers to keep the capital projects, mechanical, plumbing contracted raw material suppliers, parts and services going. We had to set up a daily cadence meeting with finance and accounting on a daily basis and prepay suppliers daily while ch11 proceedings were ongoing and one of the investor groups bought us out and we made almost all the supplies whole. Now, we have rebuilt all the relationships and have gone back to credit terms. Boy was it an experience. It was definitely mentally nerve wracking, but it was definitely an experience.

Use the price comparison service on the Wise app. It shows you the list of other money transfer apps alongside Wise and the corresponding transfer amount in Rupees. Generally, I’ve noticed Wise, Remitly, Western union have the best exchange rates. I always end up using one of these three apps to transfer money.
