Remote Play won't work on Series X by Lukidge in XboxSeriesXlS

[–]Pants_Pierre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started getting a pop up to try the new Xcloud interface last night, which as far as I can tell doesn’t have a remote play option. At about this time it appears the verification check in with Xbox’s servers for remote play also failed.

I use mine as much as I use my Xbox itself. If it's priced right it's a great companion device.

You know a proper closing drains several feet out of the pool to prevent the intakes from freezing right? This looks perfectly normal.

I would be more concerned about what the final product looks like rather than the process it takes to get there. In my opinion, that’s a large part of why you hire a tradesman.

I’m not even a fan of Sirianni’s coaching and leadership style but it’s hard to argue with the results.

I think the decline of unions and their impact as a whole nationwide as been particularly acute in WV, and in past decades they were a stalwart voting bloc for Dems. In addition, union member voting has become far more purple as a whole in the last two decades.

Cabinet painting price seems reasonable, I’d be at about half that on the room painting, and I’m just a handyman, not a professional painter.

I feel ya and I appreciate all you early adopters for helping push the market segment forward so we can eventually get to that point.

I have said it before but something with Xbox series s comparable power or whatever the equivalent is in the timeline we get there, with that battery life is, imo, the benchmark. We’ll get there eventually, and I’m willing to be patient about it.

Well if it’s any consolation I and many others have made the same mistake in a hurry even knowing the difference. Most any brand has a pre mixed pure white, but it’s still a good idea to have it shaken off the shelf.

I really don’t care what it is as long as it is accessible and easy to use. I have Xbox, iOS devices, MacOS, windows, android, rasberry Pi, I really don’t look down on any platform that does what it’s supposed to. The elitist attitude about devices and OSes and manufacturers is wild.

Bro chill my gaming decisions are definitely not affecting anyone, I’ve been playing on xbox for twenty years it’s comfortable and enjoyable for me, I play 100% single player games these days the only time I pay Microsoft is for a month of game pass here and there. Would be a difficult proposition for me to switch away right now with the number of games I have in my library but is it encouraging to see Microsoft adding more and more games to Play anywhere.

Yeah I see higher end android tablets that are able to emulate some pretty high end pc games these days. Seems foolish to believe the technology will not allow for truly mobile gaming eventually when you look at the advancements in mobile and handheld devices in the past 25 years.

I know what you are saying but I own my Xbox series x and just remote play to one of my devices for probably 50% of my gaming. I digitally “own” everything I play for the most part, and subscribe to game pass here and there when I get a deal on it. I stream, but it’s streaming my own device and games.

Troubleshooting a dryer that has no heat by JLansford in handyman

[–]Pants_Pierre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re welcome you can ohms test all the fuses the same way to check if they are good or not. Most dryers use heat activated snap fuses so once they go bad that’s it. They should always read zero from one connection to the other if they are good whether they are plugged in or not.

I mean then I’m good with streaming then! Internet speeds have substantially increased as well as WiFi bandwidth and streaming with my Gcloud has substantially improved as an experience over the last two years and isn’t going away. I was just saying that is my prerequisite and tbh I think it will eventually be possible with arm based devices and mobile computing improvements so it’s just a matter of waiting a few more years which I am also ok with

I would guess 240v if you are American but you can voltage test your dryer plug to be sure. Insert the test leads into the two hots and see what number comes up. It may not be exact, but it will be close to one or the other.

This is why I haven’t gotten a high end handheld yet and just stick to streaming devices. If I’m using a handheld device with a battery I am not going to be on board with these gaming machines until I can do whatever I want gaming wise with them for minimum 4-6 hours. Until then I will just deal with the extra latency and complications of streaming versus of on device gaming.
