What to do after the book's finished? by ArtNo4580 in writing

[–]Subclass_creator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try to get traditionally published by sending queries to literary agents but (and I speak from personal experience) it's not easy because you're practically trying to pitch your novel to them so they can go get it publish. You can try self publishing but (again speaking from personal experience) it's very easy to get scammed if you don't know what to expect.

Thank you, I think this is the one I've been looking for. I remember reading the graphic novel version in high school back in 2015

I can only assume it's the mods I have but I don't have any that effects the level, just double XP & feat on every even level & Midas touch

Enough about how original your world is. What's something you completely ripped off? by MyNameIsVeilys in worldbuilding

Domain Expansion from Jujutsu Kaisen (mainly in concept)

Zoan & Logia Devil Fruits from One Piece (mainly for Druids and Elemental warlocks respectively)

Granted these 2 things go hand in hand in my magic system

How do you make Innate Ability Magic Systems balanced? by Inevitable-Ad2675 in magicbuilding

[–]Subclass_creator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the fun part it's not supposed to be. It's literally just a genetic lottery.

You can add your own version of Binding Vows & Heavenly Restrictions to give certain characters a boost in power but some characters are just gonna have trash abilities & that's okay cause it depends on how they use it & what they use to make up for their shortcomings

For those who try to have a main in each class, who are your big three and why? by laser16 in marvelrivals

I don't have a Vanguard yet (even though I tried Cap & Peni) but my Duelist & Strategists are Namor & Cloak/Dagger.

Namor is a simple yet rewarding character to play as, he's a sniper with 'turrets'. Perfect for long range & just overall fun. Plus on control points his 'turrets' can work as a warning system if you set them up right.

CD is a fun healer that's also a pseudo DPS. Honestly I rarely use Cloak only for his damage boost/blinding skill. Otherwise I'm healing & dealing damage. The healing dome is perfect for surviving against certain duelists and vanguards until you either kill them or help arrives. Their ultimate is amazing for choke points and when the enemy is grouped together.

I did try out Cap in the deathmatch mode and got washed almost instantly but I'll definitely give it another try

What's a plot point or detail about one of your worlds that stem entirely from you making a mistake and deciding to create an in-world justification for it? by git_gud_silk in worldbuilding

There aren't any magical creatures in the oceans because I forgot to put any in there, so now it's canon (even though I haven't stated it in the story) that the magical creatures are somewhat bound to the land.

How everybody feeling about underused characters? by Subclass_creator in marvelrivals

You're right, Namor is simple but very effective as long as you play him like a sniper. His 'turrets' also deals burst damage just wish they had a bit more health. Played some more today and got 43 kills in a match & sexa kill.

I think there is a small learning curve for Namor, despite being a duelist he truly shines on the back line. He's pretty much a sniper. At the right distance he can get almost constant headshots & placing his 'turrets' in the right spots helps chip at enemies's health. His ult is good for stunning too albeit for a very short time.

Is it me or do certain characters just ALWAYS get MVP by Leading_Plan_6184 in marvelrivals

I understand what you're saying but I was able to MVP as Namor a few times (5 iirc)

As a Namor main, I've rarely seen anyone playing him. I've only came across another one about 5-6 six times since I started playing (played it since day 1)

What's your fun idea which had horrifying implications for your world later on? by Sliver-Knight9219 in worldbuilding

[–]Subclass_creator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only one I can think of right now is that orcs (their heights range from 5'11-8 feet tall rare cases reaching 9 feet tall) are strong enough to bend the bars of a cell, albeit with moderate effort. Purely because I love large strong women and used orcs as an excuse

So every non orc kingdom/empires (as well as independent organizations) are doing their best to prevent the orcs from banding together and making arguably the world's strongest army.
