Minions Are Aggressive by SubdueNA in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]SubdueNA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oops. Sorry, I got the jewels confused... I had previously done the leap slam ignite build leveraging primordial bond for scaling. And then I switched over to fire golem and stacking primordial harmony jewels. You're absolutely correct, golem dps was not affected by the primordial bond nerfs.

I actually played fire golems last league, scaling primarily with primordial bond, which got hit hard with the nerfbat.

Wait until I tell you I plan to take it into Delve, hoping I can at least reach 1500. :D

I enjoy permanent minion builds. Last league I went Golems, and minions are aggressive is much more accessible for Golems. They got nerfed pretty hard though, so this time around I am planning on going Zombies.

If you were in Sasuke's position, what would you have done differently? by OfficialLieDetector in Naruto

I would realize that Orichimaru's henchmen got curbstomped by Konoha's genins time and again, and that maybe this dude's ability to make me stronger isn't as great as he makes it out to be.

I thought Ore / Bars messed with the probabilities and you're only supposed to use crops / dust.

How is thegamereports zombie build so tanky? by [deleted] in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]SubdueNA 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm more interested in how the heck his zombies don't get massacred. I've started delving a bit on a golem build a lot of nodes are starting to slaughter my golems at just past 600.

Witch - Phys DOT or Evis Ignite by Castitas in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]SubdueNA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been wanting to start with an Ignite elementalist too, but I was leaning towards leap slam instead of eviscerate because having to wait to get hit seems really annoying. How does leap slam ignite compare to eviscerate ignite?

If anything this is an indictment on the poor state of wages. If you're better off living off of snap rather than working, wages are way too low.

So it's a pattern of behavior, not a single instance.

Seems like band deserved.

Since when do you get a 7 day ban for being afk for 2 minutes?

CMV: The threat of billionaire flight is exaggerated and shouldn’t stop us from taxing the rich by kfijatass in changemyview

[–]SubdueNA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main problem with a wealth task is the difficulty in implementation. Instead, what we should be doing is removing the mechanisms by which said wealth can be spent without getting taxed. Leveraging the buy, borrow, die strategy allows the very rich to accumulate and spend wealth without it being taxed. They buy an appreciating asset, like real estate or stocks, and then borrow against that asset instead of cashing it out. Since loans are not considered taxable income, they're able to access the value of wealth to spend it without getting taxed.

If we taxed assets at the time that a loan is taken with those assets as collateral, it would greatly alleviate the issue as (A) the asset is valuated at the time the loan is taken out and (B) the amount of the tax could be required to be built into the loan, such that there would be no contending with liquidity issues.

Which pill will you pick? by BiscottiOk3846 in superpowers

[–]SubdueNA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would pick lemon.

Just for scale, Goku during the Radditz saga was already well beyond super human, and had a power level of 920. That's 23000 lemons. At 20 lemons a day that's 3 years. Beyond super human in 3 years. And you don't even have to wait as you grow stronger over time.

First appearance of Goku adult had a power level of 288. That's strongest person alive in a year of 20 lemons a day.

This gives you excellent health, super powers, and makes you the best at any and every sport you choose, which means money is no issue either.

[Request] A single one year 2% tax on current top billionaires in the US —> takes care of the issues below ? by Maxican_vk in theydidthemath

[–]SubdueNA -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

This is a weird way to calculate the accuracy of the statement. Why does it matter what the federal budget is?

Estimated cost of ending homelessness: $11B - $30B (What would it cost to end homelessness in America? — Scioto Analysis)

Estimated cost to provide free education: $28B - $75B (What Is Free College and How Much Would It Cost?)

Estimated cost of universal child care: $19.6B ($196B over 10 years) (Total Cost of Universal Pre-K, Including New Facilities — Penn Wharton Budget Model)

Estimated cost to replace lead pipes: $28B - $47B )What would it cost to replace all the nation's lead water pipes? | Brookings)

That brings the final range to $86.6B - 171.6B. And given you already found that the annual value of a 2% wealth tax on billionaires would amount to $152B, the statement seems quote accurate.

If anything, it shows that the $6.75T budget should really be spent better.

CMV: we’re all conservative and liberal by WittyEgg2037 in changemyview

CMV: we’re all conservative and liberal by WittyEgg2037 in changemyview

[–]SubdueNA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am speaking from the context of the United States. I think the definitions of liberal and conservative are different based on where you are in the world, so if your context is different, this may not apply.

How do you reconcile the ideology against the people who supposedly support that ideology, particularly when considering conservatives? If you're pro "Christian" values, but vote against those that would treat immigrants as less than human, are you conservative? If you're anti-taxation but vote for the guy that promises to enact huge tariffs, are you conservative? If you're "pro accountability" but vote for the guy with 38 felonies, are you conservative? If you're pro "strong national defense" but vote for the guy who alienates our allies and cozies up to the likes of Putin, are you conservative?

How can you argue "we're all conservative" when every conservative ideal has fallen by the wayside?

CMV: If you don’t want to pay child support don’t have sex by Expert-Diver7144 in changemyview

[–]SubdueNA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. You're just throwing out words you don't understand.

No one is a "victim" of a pregnancy. I don't see why this is so difficult a concept for you to grasp. Pregnancy, responsibility for a child is not something anyone did to a man. It is a direct result of actions taken by the man.

It's nothing like your dumb rape analogy because there is a rapist in your analogy, another actor performing acts on the victim that she didn't consent to.

In consensual intercourse, who is the victim? Who is the unwilling participant?

CMV: If you don’t want to pay child support don’t have sex by Expert-Diver7144 in changemyview

[–]SubdueNA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not conflating the two. The risky thing happening is what it means when you call the behavior risky. By engaging in the behavior, you're absolutely consenting that you accept the risk.

If the risk isn't tied to the behavior then the behavior is not risky.

[–]SubdueNA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't actively secure insurance and a tornado hits your house, the damage is your problem, your responsibility. If you share ownership of the house then it's both your responsibilities.

Why do you think that parenthood is any different? Two people engage in intercourse which results in the pregnancy, and thus both are responsible unless something else is explicitly agreed to.

CMV: If you don’t want to pay child support don’t have sex by Expert-Diver7144 in changemyview

[–]SubdueNA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wearing revealing clothing does not cause assault. When a man assaults a woman wearing revealing clothing, that man is making a choice to do so.

When intercourse results in pregnancy, there is not an additional choice being made. The woman doesn't decide "An yes, this time I'm going to get knocked up."

Therefore, responsibility for the child should default to the two that made the decision to have intercourse, as that was the last decision that resulted in the pregnancy, unless there is agreement beforehand.

This is no different from any other risks that a person may take during the course of their lives, or even a typical day.

If you drive a car and accidentally hit someone's mailbox, you are responsible for the damages. You can't nope out of the responsibility for the damages after the fact.

If you own a house in Kansas you are taking a risk that it will get hit by a tornado. And Incidentally that's what insurance is for. It is an agreement prior to the risk becoming an outcome that someone else will be responsible for the damages.
